      I think that lg&e are some crooks & need to be investigated. Horrible customer service. Price gaugers. For sure liars. I pray something changes within their hierarchy & they get someone in their that can run that place more efficient.

      How can I refuse a meter replacement without having to enter a contract to opt out of something I never opted into in the first place? The PSC has evidently approved a plan to implement this system without consideration and disregard for public health concerns. I am concerned about EMF emanations from a wi-fi router mounted on my house and the information that will be available to a hacker and the ability to cut off my electricity with the flip of a switch on a whim.

      Ever since I purchased this home, I've had nothing but trouble out of LG&E/KU in regards to billing. We have overpaid every bill, but instead of assigning them correctly, LG&E has applied payments only to our KU bill and none to LG&E, and now are attempting to charge us an inordinate amount, including late fees, for our LG&E, which has damaged my credit and brought undue stress. If this company, which gouges each customer in their billing anyway, cannot create a workable billing system, then they should be replaced with a company who can. LG&E is incompetent in every way possible, but since they are a monopoly, nothing can be done to force them to make things right. Despite attempting to make contact in every possible way, LG&E has become impossible to work these things out with.

      They are trying to disconnect my service because my check didn’t hit yet & I paid the bill 2 days late. I inherited $1400 past due balance when my grandmother passed away & I moved into the residence In order to start service. ( which is another BS $ scam by this company to take hard earned money from people ) It isn’t even MY debt. I have two kids at home in the winter. Move out of louisville and find an alternative to LG&E. They will raise prices, “guess” on your meters, do petty s*** like this all for a buck.

      Lg&e customer service is terrible…after holding in the phone for almost an hour i was informed they cannot tell me when my bill is due each month…so they charged me a late fee even though i was told before that my billing date is the 15th so i paid over the phone after 7pm …on the 14th… and now i just got a notice in the mail that if my bill is not paid by the 27th the power will be cut off over $5.48 …i have asked multiple times over years to set up automatic payment like all my other accounts such as two phones lines, cable tv,car & house, etc. but the only way is to put my banking information in the mail or go online or downtown…last September a different lady service rep told me i could set it up over the phone right before my billing date…so i asked for a call performance recording from a supervisor…im still waiting hours later to hear…im asking my late fee be refunded and a set billing date honored…and to set up direct pay monthly otp since i always pay over the phone anyway…no wonder their ratings are so low with no customer satisfaction with no other choice for power…thanks in advance

      Louisville gas and electric has raised rates 35 percent in louisville ky. If you are thinking of moving to louisville I would warm anyone they are a monopoly and u have no choice but to use them .I have filed a complaint with the utility commission in kentucky .not sure how they can justify a 35. PERCENT INCREASE. In one year

      Since my names actually Jay. November 26 I’ve sent in 4 emails to transfer service into my name. The very first time the rep I spoke to whom I believe to be amber told me to email my documents because it would be faster. This was November 26 before I even moved into the residence. November 26 1:48 pm the automated system responds so naturally that would mean I have the correct address being that LGE system RESPONDED TO MY EMAIL COMING THRU. no after speaking to a guy named Rodney who asked to to resend the documents with attention Rodney the email still hasn’t been received. This is around 4:25pm today. He says that he would call me…. The email still hasn’t been received. So I call back. At this point I’m agitated. It’s after hours. I get on the phone with Jeri who proceeds to explain to me that I put in the email wrong. Nobody has yet to explain to her email addresses are Not capable of being case sensitive they weren’t programmed that way. Fuck me right I’m arguing with a god damn genius right. So after having this I had to also explain to her that if the automated system responded to my email clearly that means that my email got thru. She says she’s talking to the super visor who you may or may not get transferred to despite you going from asking to telling jeri that you need to transfer me to them. So finally im transferred to the supervisor finally somebody with some fucking sense aside from the Rodney guy who was trying to help me. Mind you I’ve talked to 4 reps and the super it’s not 7:00 pm Friday December 3. They are closed on the weekend so no power until Monday….Still no power now. Lge still can’t find the email I’ve sent 4 times plus my roomate sending from his email!!! Making that 5 times total. The fuck is going on here right… Kennesha who is a sweetheart tells me that the email department cannot be reached other than by email …. Whoever the fuck made that call to make a department you cannot fucking call should be fired immediately. Despite all the work Kennesha tried to do she couldn’t move forward because she didn’t have the documentation to do so. Why the fuck is their a department who is in control of this ?!!! So here it is 10:29 pm December 3. The low for tonight is mid to low 40s. I have no power because of negligent personnel. My power should be on. Transferring a bill should have been a cake walk in the park. At least I know if it gets too cold over the weekend and I freeze to death my review is proof how little this company cares about the people they are supposed to service. I absolutely now see why this company has such terrible reviews. Not to mention how is it I have to suffer because LG&E failed to do their job. It is now December 6th 21 and it’s 12:18 pm eastern time still without power.

      First off the budget billing plan is a joke, they claim it helps you but it actually goes against you! The customer service is a joke. They don't care about helping anyone anytime. And apparently being on the budget plan is actually considered a payment arrangement but was never specified. I absolutely hate having to deal with business in order to just simply live everyday! The prices are outrageous and too much for someone considered low income. They abuse their power for sure!
