On March 13, 2023 I call Allen Electric Services for power outage in one side of my house. *******, the electrician showed up at my house around 3 or after that time. Very friendly guy and we discuss the situation and he tested the breakers in the breaker box and found the problem. The main breaker which was 100-125A Std.Main Breaker, so he went on to fix the problem without even giving me the price. So I am thinking that this is a easy fix and shouldnt cost much. He went to his truck to get the part and less then 5minutes its done, im asking him whats the cost and he said hold on and let me get the paper work. The price was so much more than I could afford, so I said this little part sure cost alot. I kept talking about the price and he said nothing. I needed the heat because I was without it all night and I have a elderly Mother in the house, the temperature in the house was 64 degree. Anyway, I end up writing a check for 688.00 which I felt I couldve brought at the store for less. l feel like I was ripped off and over charged for his service. Please help me to solve this matter and that it dont happen to someone else. Thank you very much ***** ******

Hello Ms. ******,
I spoke to the electrician that serviced your home and who was able to restore your power. He stated he followed our policy of giving you an upfront price before starting any work and also having you sign off before starting any work. He also priced the job correctly based on our pricing guidelines. I pulled the paperwork to which you signed (See attachment), approving the price to perform the work. Our prices are very competitive, we don't want there to be any surprises, that is why we have you sign off on the work. We aren't in the business of ripping people off, we have been servicing the Louisville area for over 40 years and have a great reputation. Please if you have any additional questions, give our office a call.
