On 2/19/24 ***** ***** of EHR LLC called me about completing some work on my home (a referral of a friend). On 2/23 he came to my house to give an estimate on removing popcorn ceilings, installing lights in the living room and kitchen, and fully remodeling my full and half bathroom. He told me to pick out tile that I wanted (sent next day) and he gave me a quote. I agreed to the price and he came back out on 2/26 to sign the agreement to start work on the 28th. As he started working through the project things came up with the plumbing that needed to be fixed which he informed me would be additional costs and I agreed. Some of the original measurements were off so we had to make adjustments that resulted in added work/costs. He would never bring the updated contract for me to sign before I was leaving for vacation but he sent it via text and I agreed. He told me he would have the project finished while I was out of the country so I wired him the money before we left to not break the contract. When we returned 3/24 the work was not complete. After getting angry with one another regarding some of the tile work, he decided a few days later that he was finished working on the project because it was "complete". The full bathroom was left unable to use, the tile in the shower was left un-grouted in spots, the sink/vanity was not installed, the baseboards were not attached, the toilet/tub was not hooked up, the floor tile was not installed correctly, and the shower window will not shut now. Half bathroom was left not hooked up or able to use. Hallway floor was damaged. Hallway walls/bedroom were left orange from cutting tile in the house. Ceilings were not completed. After getting estimates to fix/finish the project, it was recommended the bathrooms be completely demo'd and redone due to the work not being completed correctly and safety concerns. I've paid over $20K ( $14.8K labor & $6K material) for an incomplete reno and unable to live in my house for 6+ weeks now.
