Thank you for our recent conversation on this matter. Detective ******* responded back to us on this matter. He advised us that the Ms. ***** ***** has until the 8th of this month to come and pick up her car. The car  was burnt and parked at **** ******** ***** **** **. The tenant called it in due to the vehicle blocking their driveway. The vehicle looked as if it had been pushed up into that parking area with the converters cut off. Owner of the vehicle did not reside at that residence. and we received a call to tow it. Ms. ***** was upset with us because we would not buy the car. Detective ******* has advised us to call him after the 8th if the owner has not picked up the car. He will then advise us on the next step to resolve this matter. We have tried to reach out to the tenant that called it in and Ms. ***** but both parties have blocked our numbers as well as a cell phone number. To my knowledge, we have never had a complaint filed against our business. We are willing to dissolve the impound fees but we are not a storage facility. With that being said, I hope you understand. We would like to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you so much for your prompt attention on this matter.

      Sincerely,

      ******* *****

      Complaint: ********

I was the one who reached out to the police on this matter because I was blocked by this company. There was never an issue about them not wanting to buy my car they defrauded me obtaining possession after I requested their services without my consent the police investigated and found wrong doing on their part that's why the car was released to me and fees set aside. It's illegal for a tow company to get a call from a tenant about a car in a parking lot of an apartment complex and not contact the owner before removal I think this should still go on their records for unethical practices and bad business practices

I am rejecting this response because:

and the photo is of the thread with the owner when he stopped responding and would not tell me who the owner was

Good afternoon Ms. ******. This is ******* with Derby City Recycling. I wanted to let you know that Ms. ***** ***** picked up her car yesterday and had it towed off of our lot. She wanted us to buy it from her but we felt that it was in our interest for her to take her car peacefully and that way it would be in her possession. Thank you for your help.

      Sincerely,
