The pour was an exact pour consisting of 6 2ft x2ft x4ft boxes, and 4 1ft x 1ft x 4ft boxes. - - Calculation where made by self and with an online concrete calculator. Formula for calculating volume: (W x D X H = Cubic) (27 CuFt = 1 CuYd) - - (1. 2ft x 2ft x 4ft = 16CuFt) ( a. Convert to Cubic Yards)( i. 16/27 = 0.59 CuYd ) (b. Round Up (0.6 CuYd)) (c. 6 boxes x 0.6CuYrd = 3.6 CuYd) (2. 1ft x 1ft x 4ft = 4 CuFt) (a. Convert to Cubic Yards)(i. 4/27 = 0.148 CuYrd) ( b. Round Up (0.15 CuYrd)) (c. 4 boxes x 0.15CuYrd = 0.6 CuYrd (same as a 2x2, see line 1.b)) (3. Total volume) (a. SubTotal 1.c: 3.6) (b. SubTotal 2.c: 0.6) (c. Total required volume: 4.2 CuYrd) - - An order was placed for 4.5 CuYrd and included delivery. Again, these are boxes, there is no variation. Max, total fill is 4.2 CuYrd. - - Truck showed showed up. He ran out of concrete after 3 yrds. Claimed he brought 3.5. He poured 4 (2x2) and 2 (1x1) and 1/4th of another 2x2. A total of 3.0 yards. Driver said he'd need to go back and get another yard, and that he only brought 3.5 yards. Looking at the total boxes filled, I told him he needs to get 1.5 yards. He left and I received a call from Lend-a-Hand about extra charges. I told the lady on the phone,"No, the drive showed up with a short load, and he is returning to get the rest of his load." Driver returned and the remaining boxes were filled. Driver dumped remaining on site. There was nothing left, only about a 5 gallon bucket. - - (All boxes filled, nothing left over .... 4.5 yards) They charged my card a second time, an extra 159. I called and they said the driver had to come back and get another load. I told him, no the drive showed up short. All I received was 4.5yards. The original order was 4.5 yards and prepaid. - - They will not return my calls. I called 3 times. They owe me $159.
