I was told by ***** in the billing department what I owed before my procedure, of which I was charged and paid upon arrival (I have a receipt), yet a month or so after my procedure they billed me for an additional $600+ dollars without an explanation. I have tried contacting the company several times, specifically the billing department, and they refuse to answer the phone or return my calls. Now I have debt collectors harassing me.Business response

The issue –
• Her insurance denied her injection by Dr. *******. The full charge amount was dropped to patient responsibility. She asked for a self pay price, which ***** gave her and she paid electronically.
• ****** posted the payment as a partial payment for the full amount of charges instead of adjusting off the difference in the charge and the self pay fee.
Corrective action –
After reviewing the notes and the account with ******, on 9-20-22 I adjusted the claim to the self pay price she paid. She has a $0.00 balance for this date of service.
