This is the 2nd bad experience with this business and this business simply will not take accountability for their own failures. Our latest experience is as follows: We ordered a pizza at approximately 5:25P on 11/19/21 thru ******** for customer pickup with an expected 5:48 pickup. I arrived at 5:45P & did not leave with my order until approx 6:40P. I questioned the order several times. Once I mentioned there was an expected pickup time of 5:48P and was told by the red headed lady behind the counter there was no time on the order and it was placed through ******** and that's why they couldn't find the order. This being the case, how do ********/******* drivers know when to pickup an order, and how did Derby City Pizza end up making my order without me describing the order to them again? At the point when this situation became ridiculous I finally asked to cancel the order with a refund and was simply told the order came thru ******** and I would have to take it up with them. If ******** forwards my payment to this business, why couldn't this business simply issue a refund to net out at zero. The short answer is they could have, but this lady wasn't going to. I run a business with 150 employees. This is the worst experience I have ever had of an employee with a failed approach to considerate business practices. I will share my experience with everyone I know. I am embarrassed for this lady and this small business.
