This business has unethical business practices. They can and will cancel your event booking at anytime. They canceled our wedding event in order to book a larger revenue producing event. This was done nearly two months after we signed a contract with them. They called and said that our room was already booked and that the previous booking was "forgotten". Not likely to say the least. This cancellation left us without a venue for our wedding and sent us scrambling for a new venue. We lost 2 months and many of the venues we were previously considering booked with other events. Read any contracts with them carefully because their rental agreement is VERY one sided and gives them the option of canceling you right up to the day of your event by simply refunding any deposit that you have given them. If they get a better deal....they will leave you hanging.Review from Linda S

Mellwood arts and entertainment owners are allowing unhealthy at at risk situations in their bing this is currently being investigated by the health dept . Disgusting out of order bathrooms with feces left in it for weeks with no repair . Homeless people sleeping insude biring in front of business and on benches , no heat , always brown . Mold and falling in Ceilings in most units . Owners ignore tennants , until they get them to leave and on the next renter . Just deplorable !Review from Meaghan O

Irresponsible owner and management have created a very dangerous situation at Mellwood Arts Center. Illegal, non-permitted work happens all the time. Fire hazards, frequent break ins and property stolen from rooms tenants rent, leaky and unstable roofs, nothing is ever fixed properly. Someone is going to end up dying here because of their negligence.
