1 starCharged to replace flashing. After I noticed a leak they admitted they did not put in new flashing. Also charged me for vent boxes they didn’t put on. They did say that they were gonna put new flashing on but not replace the roof. However they continue to not show up. I’ve tried to go above Tyler, but apparently he’s the be all know all up there. I’ve left messages for the owner to no avail. I have water damage in my home they refuse to take ownership of. Hopefully this review helps others to stay away from this horrible business.Review fromJane T

My initial call about a leaking roof was professionally handled, service call scheduled for following day. Prompt service, repairs made, reasonable price. Personable people. Pleasure to do business with. Highly recommend.R&B Roofing and Home Improvements

Do not use this company!!! Salesperson Cassie came to my home and gave me an estimate for a job which I did pay to have done. After MUCH trouble trying to schedule, which included me taking a day off work and then being cancelled because she scheduled before speaking to the worker, I told her that I was done with the business and just wanted a refund. I didn't hear another word from her. I filed a dispute with credit card company over the ordeal and then they sent workers out to do the job with no notice AFTER I told them I wanted a refund. The office manager or owner, Scott, was called when I came home from work and found the workers had already been tearing trim work off of my house and wadding it up so that it couldn't be put back on and raw wood was exposed. Scott didn't want to hear anything I had to say about a conversation with Cassie and had the audacity to tell me that they couldn't schedule the job when I could be there, after Cassie had said that isn't a problem at all. He raised his voice to me and spoke over me, rather than listening to what I was trying to tell him. I will certainly tell others not to use this company every time I get the opportunity to do so. Scott kept trying to tell me that this is a multimillion dollar company and I truly don't care how big your company is. If you're a business person that is too big for your britches, you'll soon take that company into the ground. All the while, I kept being told that the job was seriously underbid, if you had simply given me the refund I requested, instead of sending your workers out to do the job in a manner that couldn't be undone, you wouldn't have lost the supposed monies that was underbid.R&B Roofing and Home Improvements

Ms. ******, had all the services we contracted for delivered we even went above and beyond and did extra work she requested at NO additional charge. She paid in full on her credit card and once we did a complete walk around with her and she was happy with the work she tried to dispute the authorized charge. We are now placing a lien on her property and have moved this to legal..this in legal..Review fromBridget H

1 starDo not use this company! I had RB roofing put a new roof on my house in November of 2021. I noticed a few issues with paint on the ceiling of the kitchen, but this week I came home to wet ceilings and condensation dripping down the walls throughout my home. I contacted the company. They came out 2 days later and advised me it was an issue with workmanship. Specifically that he could see there was no underlayment and water was getting through. He also said it needed more ventilation. He then said it was not covered any longer under the warranty. I advised him it did not appear to be properly installed and I shouldn’t have to cover the cost of the repair of the roof or the damages to the inside of my home. He said he couldn’t find my file and could not tell me what was going to happen, so he called the owner. He left without checking the roof from the outside and without giving me an answer. I am not asking for anything outrageous, just to have them fix the problem they caused and the resulting damage to my home. I believe this issue isn’t being taken seriously. There are other issues I have with the electrical work in the basement as well as unfinished trim from the kitchen renovation they did in 2021.Review fromJeremy D

1 starOur home remodel has been ongoing for over a year now. We hired them to do gutters, soffits, siding, patio door, and windows. Firstly, instead of replacing the bay windows in our kitchen like they were supposed to, they completely took out the supports and attempted to make us pay for the replacements. Secondly, none of our windows were installed properly. Our kitchen backsplash is destroyed, the frames around our windows are destroyed, the flooring around our patio door is destroyed. We have gone an entire summer and winter without properly installed windows! Temperature readings as low as 19 degrees detected INSIDE our home! It has been an absolute nightmare trying to get anybody to fix this. I will NEVER recommend this company to anybody and if I could give ZERO stars, I would.Review fromDebby S

5 starsI want to give a big shout out to Tyler and the crew at R&B Roofing for the great job they did in replacing our roof. Tyler went over all of the details of the job and answered every question I had. The crew arrived as scheduled, worked hard all day and completed the job by the end of the day. They did great job of cleaning up the worksite. The roof looks great and we could not be happier with R&B Roofing.Review fromJames S

I have been trying since July to get a copy of the warranty for the roof that was put on my house. I have called several times and left messages and talked to actual people but I can't get any results. They got my money and now they don't care. It's a nice roof but based on the customer service experience I would not recommend.R&B Roofing and Home Improvements

We appreciate you contacting us about your warranty issue. R&B warranties your installnfrom the date of install and warranty paperwork is processed once payment is received in full. Once full payment is received the paperwork is set in to the manufacturer for them to process your warranty. We have checked and they sent your paperwork to the address the job installation to place. We will request another copy for your records. However your warranty is in place and can be transferred if your home is sold. If you have additional questions please call the office 502-442-0811. I hired R & B Roofing to put new gutters and downspouts on my 900 square foot home a year ago. Within 6 months they were growing little trees. I called the man I ordered them thru, he came out and put a level on them and said they were done wrong. He would get me on their schedule. Never heard anything so I called the office who sent someone else out. He didn’t agree with the assessment of his sales person and has refused to fix them. As of today, birds are splishing and splashing in their $3000 bird bath. Life time warranty on **** work!R&B Roofing and Home Improvements

Rhonda, We are very sorry to hear about your discontent with your gutters. As I explained when I met with you, the salesman's assessment of your gutters being "pitched" wrong, was inaccurate. They are pitched correctly. The reason you have standing water in your gutters is because you opted not to have gutters guards installed on your new gutters and your house is surrounded by trees on 3 sides. As I pointed out when we met, you have leaves, acorns, and other debris that are clogging the drain which has lead to the standing water issue. We would be happy to install gutter guards to alleviate this issue!Rhonda

I've never met you in my life, at the time you were there yes there were leaves in my gutters. When my gutters are clean like they have been twice since you saw my roof the water still does not drain. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that gutters are not hung right if they don't drain...Rhonda

My apologies, you are correct, we did not meet in person. We spoke on the phone. The pitch gauge I put on your gutters did not show any improper pitching. You were also advised prior to the start of your job that adding some extra downspouts would help mitigate this problem of standing water. A suggestion that you also refused. If you have had your gutters properly cleaned, I would be happy to come back out and take a look at this standing water you're referring to. I did not refuse anything, sales guy and I talked about it. He said he understood why they didn’t put them in a couple places because one would be in my crosswalk to my backyard and he said there was no structure to attach to one the others side of the house. I have cleaned the gutters a few times since you were here and there is standing water every time it rains. There is now and there will be more after the rain. The gutters are not properly installed. It just is, you may not fix it, but that don’t make it right.R&B Roofing and Home Improvements

Of course I do, all I ever wanted was nice working gutters. I get home around 5:00 everyday. I do however want to be here when you come this time.Rhonda

Just a note, he didn't not come out he sent a insurance claims specialist for whatever reason. Maybe they are claiming the job on their insurance but not taking care of my gutters. The insurance claims guy Sean agreed something was wrong. He could see it, said they were flush, took pictures of the standing water, said he would talk to Tyler the guy who has been responding to these posts. Once again never heard back from anyone so I contacted R & B Roofing again, Tyler called me on my way home from work to tell me the gutters are correct. I need more downspouts and gutter guards, and that he has went above and beyond to make me happy. I'm not sure how gutters ever drained without gutter guards, because it seems that now they can't. When I got frustrated he went into a whole ugly rant about me needing time to calm down, and maybe I needed a nap. I feel like if they were not going to be able to give me gutters that drained, or if there was going to be a problem with them draining after I bought them R & B should have informed me of this, and should not have taken my money.
