Turned in my tax paperwork on 2/24/22. Called about two weeks later and learned they had to file an extension on my return. Called back about two weeks later and was told my return would be completed that day and I would hear from the company "in a very few days." Received no return call. Called again, and was told I would hear from them by week's end. Never received the call. Called early this week and accessed their voice-mail. Left a message that I wanted a return call at their earliest convenience. No one has contacted me. No one told me when I turned in my tax paperwork that an extension would have to be filed. I have no proof that in fact the extension was filed on my behalf. I am extremely displeased that I have never received a call from the company, despite my several calls to them. I am anxious as to my tax situation, as I began receiving Social Security payments in August 2021, and am still working full-time. I have no idea if I have specified the correct amount of tax to be withheld from the SS payments. I do not know if I am due a refund, or if I owe the federal and/or state money. I wish to first apologize for our poor customer service and communication. My business, like so many others now a days, is severely understaffed.
When you dropped off your tax documents on February 24, 2022, we had not planned on having to file an extension. But since I had missed so much work due to my ******* being at under ******** ****, we just got farther and farther behind. My ******* actually passed away two days before you dropped off your documents. I did my best to continue to work but it has been and still is very difficult.I have today completed the work you requested, and it is ready for your signature and to be picked up.
If you wish to discuss the matter further, I am working most Monday – Friday from 9 to 5. Thank you for your patience and understanding.Customer response
