Purchased a hair topper. Contacted her via her business email twice, to explain it wasn't working and if she could find something more natural; never heard back. Tried to take back she wouldn't even though it hadn't been a week since purchase. Owner, Heidi, lied about refunds being on receipt, it isn't, told me to get out of store when I explained most retail have refunds! Very rude, mean woman, would never do business again!! Shame on her being so mean to women having thinning hair issues!

I personally fitted you and You loved the hair topper so much that you left wearing it on your head. I asked several times if you liked the color of the topper and you said yes. March 22, 2023 at 2:54pm (10 days after purchasing the hair topper) You sent a message via our website stating that you wore the hair topper for 2 days and your husband and son hated it so you wanted to return it. March 23, 2023 at 4:pm (11 days after purchasing the hair topper) You sent a second message via our website. (I had not had the opportunity to respond to your first message) I responded to this message letting you know that I could not offer a refund or exchanged per our store policy and especially when a product has been worn. I did not hear back from you. March 25, 2023 @ or around 11:30am ( 13 days after purchasing the hair topper) You hostilly entered my store while i was in the middle of fitting a young woman for a wig demanding a refund for the hair topper. When I could not honor a refund you began to yell at me. I explained that I was with a client and that I would try to call you later that day to talk about the hair topper . You claimed you did not wear the topper but the topper still had your scrunchie on it and you had clearly stated in your messages that you wore it for 2 days. You became so enraged that you started to hit the paper bag the hair topper was in. At that time I requested you to leave my store. You would not leave until the 3rd or 4th time i asked you to leave. You left the hair topper on the my check out counter and about 2 minutes after you left my store you returned with your husband. You both accused me of stealing the hair topper since you left it in my store and threatened to ruin my name and business if i did not allow you to return the hair topper. At this point I was appalled and in shock by you and your husband's behavior and I demanded that both of you leave my store. You and your husband refused to leave and continued harassing me. I demanded that you both leave over and over about 10-15 times until I was scared enough to pick up the phone and call 911. While I was on the phone with 911, and eventually the Middletown KY Police Department, you and your husband left my store only to stand right outside of my store flipping me off and screaming that you were going to ruin me and my business. Your husband stood outside with you taking pictures of my store as you continued to yell. The POLICE came and you both were instructed by the POLICE to leave the premisses and not return. The young lady in the store that I was fitting for a wig was so scared that she called her mom to come right over and help us. They were both scared for my safety and both are witnesses to what actually happened that day. Both are more than willing to give statements to the police and if you or your husband continue to harrass me and my business I will be forced to take further legal action to ensure my safety and most importantly ensure the safety and privacy of my clients. I have never in my life witnessed 2 grown adults act in the manner that you and your husband acted and continue to act. You should be ashamed of yourself. Awakenings boutique is a SAFE place for anyone who is dealing with hair loss or any life storm and I will not tolerate hateful and down right scary and disturbing behavior in this environment no matter how many times you and your husband threaten to ruin my name and my business.
