On September 28 2022 Palmer Paving put in a blacktop driveway for me. The proposal was for a 10 ft wide drive 3" thick. Six months later I began to notice cracks I contacted the company and someone finally came out on June 1 2023. They said they would fix the problem but have not. It has continued to crack all up and down the driveway. Many areas are revealing the asphalt to only be 1 inch thick. In addition they only made the driveway 81/2 ft wide. They do not answer my calls so I drove over to their business in Morningview on a Friday June 16 and they assured me it would be taken care of the following Monday June 19. No show and no phone call.Business response

I was having trouble responding to complaint #******** ***** ******* , we have been in contact and had scheduled the job for today. But due to 100% rain all day and asphalt plant shut down there was no way to do the job today. The job has been rescheduled for tomorrow morning as long as the weather cooperates. If we get rain again tomorrow we will reschedule for Wednesday until we get job taken care of. It being 10:30 to 11 in the morning we had not called for a cancel yet but she would have received a call before noon to confirm tomorrow's job. Thank you Jamie P****r ###-###-####Customer response

Within a month of application grass began to grow through asphalt and asphalt began breaking away exposing the ground beneath. It continues to get worse. I have contacted and I have spoken with representatives of the company…they have agreed it needs to be resolved but have ignored my request and refuse to answer my calls. Also, they were suppose to come back to seal the work and have not honored that. It remains unsealed. I paid for 3” of asphalt and every broken area has at the most only 1”. I would like for them to honor their contract and replace/repair the needed work. If they cannot honor their contract I would like to be compensated so as to hire another company to redo.Business response

Thank you for following up with me. The company did come and repair the area and I’ve seen no other problems with that. I apologize for not contacting you, I was under the assumption that they responded to the complaint. All is resolved
