      I Had Hutson’s pick up by D105 John Deere my mower just to have it serviced and change the blades. They said that they balanced the deck and replace a cable for the PTO, which I never use also. Then, after three weeks, they return the mower, and when I started it up, it moved without touching the travel pedal, and the travel pedal was depressed more than halfway on it’s own. After five minutes, the mower slowed to a stop and wouldn’t move at all. I called to have them pick it up and fix it and complain. There was no problem with its movement before they got it. I also noticed that they had used a full tank of gas and ran the mower for over two hours, which seems unreasonable for replacing the blades and tightened the belt. Today I called them and they said it needed a new transmission. which could be possible unless they broke the transmission because it worked just fine when they took it the first time. They said if it was the transmission I would have to pay for it plus, I would have to pay for an hour of labor for them just to look to see why it wasn’t working when they gave it back to me. It would seem reasonable that if it stopped working for a different reason after they returned it for something that was working with the guys in the first place that they would look at it without charging me to look at it.. After all, they seem to have broke it because it was really good movie just ride the pedal is all the way up just like it should be when they got it. They drove it out to the trailer to transport it when they picked it up the first time. That would happen in the condition. It was in when I received it back. They deny all wrongdoing and took a week to tell me that they thought it was the transmission.

      I took my Kubota tractor to Hutson, Inc. in Ellsworth, MI in early December 2022 because it was difficult to start when cold and smoked severely when starting. I suggested it might need new glow plugs. Meanwhile I went to Texas for the winter and was told they would fix it and have it ready in the Spring. They replaced glow plugs and called me to say that didn't work and it needed new injectors. They called sometime later and said new injectors didn't solve the problem, and rebuilding the diesel pump would be the answer. Aftr rebuilding the disesel pump they told me the tractor was fixed. I went to pick it up from them in April 2023 and it still smoked as bad as in the beginning. At that point they told me the valves needed to be adjusted. After adjusting the valves they said it was now fixed. I went again to pick it up and it still smoked just as bad. They then told me that it was normal for the tractor to smoke like that. I asked them why they had replaced all those parts if it was normal for it to smoke. They said the parts were bad and needed replacing. Replacing all those parts did not make a single bit of difference in the smoking or cold starting of the tractor. I expected it to be repaired by a diesel mechanic and all they did was tried a bunch of different parts. At no time did I request a "go-over" as their invoice stated. On 6/6/23 I had to pay the bill ($1912.51) in order to take the tractor home. It still starts hard and smokes just like it did when I brought it in. Hutson has done nothing to resolve this. I have since done a charge-back on my credit card. It is still pending.
