I received a written quote on 12/1/21 (note the quote cost $95 but then they said that it'd be deducted from the bill for services). The quote stated "Hello *****. Running power to the shop. My wire you’ll need to add 529.79 Using your wire and hooking up the building not including the inside. Around 1100.00. The ceiling fan we will hook up while we’re doing any other work." We used my wire, so we anticipated around 1100. They found a used but like new junction box and asked if we mind if they use that, and that our price would be reduced. We said sure. They did the work and sent a bill. I've been trying to get an answer since Dec 30 (the day after we received the bill for $1501.46 - I've left several voice mails, talked to someone who said they couldn't access the system, and exchanged several emails) and finally got them to state that the bill is exactly what they intend it to be today - 1/11/22, that "I’ve looked at your bill and the receipts for the materials and the only wire that I bought was the ground wire that has to go with it. There was a charge for a box that I had to use in order to make your wire work plus the connectors to reduce the size to get it into the panel. The job took a little bit longer than I had expected trying to fight with that wire. I apologize for the bill being higher than I had thought and it taking me so long to get back with you. " We've received a second bill that states the same amount due of $1501.46 but also now has the "-$95"???? yet we still owe $1501.46...??? None of this makes sense. The labor itself was less than $600 so the extra time does not account for the extra $400 charged, and there is no reason our $95 doesn't bring down the cost owed...Business response

We have reached out to the customer, but have not heard back. She is correct, we will need to re-invoice to apply the $95 credit.
As far as the refund, the customer has not paid anything, but we are still trying to reach out and correct this.
