      I am the CEO of a freight company. We are in the trucking business. A load was delivered 4/3/2022. The driver didn't receive a BOL or Bill of Landing. The time spent this week trying to get this matter resolved with the brokerage SHRAM LOGISTICS has been a nightmare. I believe this entire company is a scam. I spoke with a rep by the name of *****. Disrespectful, rude, demeaning, uncompassionate are just a few words I would use to describe him. I'm getting the run around for a very expensive load. We are in a PANDEMIC. I need this resolved expeditiously before my legal team gets involved.

      We contacted our customer and they said they could do nothing without the paperwork proving the load was delivered.  W relayed this message to the carrier and told them that it was the drivers responsibility to make sure that he had the proper paperwork before he left the shipper.  We also told them that we would pay the invoice once we had said paperwork.  W asked the customer if she had any way of contacting the receiver to see if the load was delivered.  She tried and after a couple of days, they found the load and said that it had been delivered.  We told the carrier that the load had been delivered but would need some form of documentation, other than our rate confirmation before we could release the payment.  They finally got someone from the customer to sign our RC and we verified with the customer that the load had been picked up and delivered by this carrier and we approved the invoice to be paid.  I do not see how this could have been handled any differently.  The driver has to make sure that he gets his paperwork before leaving the shipper.  We had to wait until the receiver verified that they had received everything that the driver was supposed to have picked up before releasing payment.  The driver didn't have a BOL to verify that he had picked up all of the product, so we were at the mercy of the receiver to count and make sure they had received everything.

      Since delivery has been verified, payment has been released for this invoice and this matter considered resolved.
