I have had a 5 plus year history with this company dealing directly with owner Ms **** ******. They have serviced our pool pumps they have serviced other pool equipment. they have also replaced very expensive pool pumps for us in the past. In our relationship, Ms ****** has always quoted verbally the price of parts and services. She has always been accurate and we have always paid those invoices timely and in full, no surprises. Recently in June 2022, I called Ms ****** and spoke with her about a potential filter replacement, I emailed her pictures of our current pool equipment, I also went to the store a couple of times and i showed her pictures in person of our current pool equipment. we discussed the specifics of the equipment and the replacement process. She quoted exactly: " $700 to $750 for the filter, about $200 to $250 for the plumbing and the install, and the cost for sand." I told her to go ahead and do it. When I received the bill it was a total of $1,779.48 consisting of the filter cost of $1,199.99. I called today and talked directly with her and asked about the $700 to $750.00 price, she offered for me to only take $100.00 off the price. When I asked about a price of $700 to 750, she said NO, she wasn't willing to do that . I have paid $1679.48 and took off the $100.00 as she offerred. I would like the BBB to help me retrieve the additional difference of $349.99 plus the adjustment of taxes of 6% which would be another $ 26.99 of taxes, additional return of $419.98. This would provide me the filter part of $750.00 as she originally quoted in good faith after my personal visit to her shop, and after me showing her pictures both in person and by email of my current pool equipment. Please help me recover my $419.98 as i have also deducted the $100.00 from the total bill paid of $1679.48. That will allow me to have purchased the filter for the originally verbally quoted price of "$700 to $750.00" as originally quoted by the owner, Thanks for the help.Business response

The company states that there may have been a miscommunication with the customer; but maintains the work it completed was done promptly and to industry standards. The company contends the customer was charged the same any customer would be for the work that was completed.Customer response
