      7/17/2023 Payment -295 I paid my sewer bill and it said my total amount due was 295 to get my water turned back on. I called the company (brs management) and no one answered and it was a cell phone answering pick up. So I called my my water company (american water)and they told me they have nothing to do with the sewer and the water being turned off. They are not an affiliate with the company. I then called the sewer company again and a guy answered just saying hello, not his name, no company name - nothing very unprofessional and suspicious. I told him I paid the bill and if I could get my water turned back on. He said oh well you now need to pay another fee and I can. The website says nothing about another fee to have it turned back on. Just that I needed to pay the amount due. He then told me he would not be turning it back on till it was paid and that he posted it to my account and hung up. I could hear him driving using his turn signal and such. They weren't even at a company building for customer service. I called the guy who runs the trailer park(treehaven) and he knew how much was due and said he would call the guy to get it back on.Then he turned it around and said no this is between you and the utilities company, the water company.I told him I called american water and they said they had nothing to do with it. I said I knew that it was him who had it turned off and he sends his workman to do it because we had seen him turn it off and this has happened to other people we know in the park. He said he didn't care what the company said and he would call his guy. I believe the sewer company is made up by the trailer park and he is sending someone to turn of people's water and then making them pay some other amount that isn't even listed or explained on the website and then refusing to turn it back on. This is hazardous for families in the summer time. It is all just for the trailer park to make more money and control their residents

      Customer was disconnected for non payment of the sewer bill.  The most recent payment made prior to disconnection was March 21,2023.  When disconnected, the shut off balance was $295.25.  There is a $90 reconnection fee that needs to be paid to restore service.  This has been the policy since the customer moved in and it was outlined in the welcome package that was mailed.  The reconnection fee was posted to the customer's account and was paid.  After that service was restored.
