Springs Urgent care is not affiliated with Ohio Health. They only lease an office in the Springs medical center. Receptionists can be rude and do not know about filing Medicaid. Business appears to be having financial problems. Jason, in billing dept turned past due balance that was covered by Medicaid, but not filed, over to collection agency. Due to past due balance, physician will not see patients with medical needs and turns them away at front desk. I got tired of giving them my insurance cards and them not filing them with Medicaid, after medicare payments. I would call and get irate with their office. Now, proprietor physician Randy ********** told me that he will never treat me again, because I cussed out his staff, of which one was his 18yr old daughter. He said that, due to financial problems with patients from COVID 19, he turns accounts over to collections and refuses to see patients. Their money problems must be bad as though they require masks in the waiting area, the receptionists charge $.50 per mask to the patients. Proprietor physician Randy ********** should not refuse seeing patients over bills, especially when the blame falls on the ignorance of his staff in not filing medicare and Medicaid insurance claims properly. It does not give his front desk staff the right for being rude. If his staff and 18yr old daughter cannot handle complaints from their patients, then they need not to work there or be in business. When an irate customer gets tired of staff ignorance and complains, that does not mean cussing out staff. So, of this cussing causes problems, maybe Proprietor physician Randy should just close his doors. A doctor's oath is to care for all patients, especially when it is a privately owned urgent care.
