My utility payment was late and OMU knocked on my door today, March 12, 2024. I was naked when they knocked and I went to retrieve my bath robe and when I came to open the door the utility man was in my backyard and disconnected the power. I went out back to inform him I was paying the bill and reconnect fee but he had already made his way around front and gotten in his truck and left. I called OMU during this and paid my bill AND the reconnect fee and they told me it would be between 12 and 5 before the power was restored. This is a problem because I a) work from home b) and a single mom who just went to the grocery and currently have groceries going bad and c) paid a $39 reconnect fee so that my power could be restored TIMELY. I want my reconnect fee refunded and to be reimbursed for groceries IAO $250 which I will accept as credit on my next bill. My power is still off and this is impeding my ability to work.Business response
