We regret buying our home from Jagoe. Jagoe has a policy of inspecting everything before they hand over the keys. When we moved in, the AC wasnt functioning In the month of July, few months later, the fascia just ripped off on a stormy windy day, which jagoe did fix After about a year, we installed a doorbell camera and noticed that the gutter would just spill all the water over. When asked Jagoe to have a look,we were told that it was out of warranty. Now, after making sure that the gutters were clean, and the water still not draining the way it’s suppose to, had the gutters inspected and found out that the alignment was not done the way it should have to begin with. Sure it was a model home, but we bought it thinking that it was a well built model home. All the gutter water overflowing disturbed the mulch and we noticed that the foundation where they laid the bricks on the garage side of the house was hollow and had no concrete filled in what so ever. So we sent pictures and had Jagoe fill it. Now the latest is that the plumbing in our house, has a drift in the pipes inside the wall which Stewart Richey,a plumbing co. said has no reason to be there. We caught thatproblem when we had to cut 5 different holes inside 1 of our bedrooms to figure out why the pipes would rattle whenever we flushed the toilet. When addressed to Jagoe, we were told they would give the number of their plumber and we have to have it fixed ourselves because it was out of warranty. When we called the Jagoe’s plumbers, they had no idea how they could fix it and wanted to experiment on this issue on our house. Now How in the world are we supposed to check inside of the walls and inspect whether the house down the road a few years later would give us plumbing issues and the plumbing was not up to the standard. Now when we contact Jagoe of the sloppy job done on the house, they just don’t want to even listen to what we have to say.All they say is that “it’s out of warranty”.I wish this nightmare on nobody.Review from Lisa L

Jagoe builds quality, energy efficient homes. They have bent over backwards to ensure my satisfaction with my new Jagoe home. I worked for the International Code Council and can tell you that a Jagoe home is the only builder I would recommend if you want a home that meets building codes and makes the process of purchasing and settling in a home a great experience. Lastly, they do what they say they will do in a timely manner.Jagoe Homes, Inc. Response

I would leave 0 if I could. This company is an absolute joke. They are rude and like to be disrespectful to women as they contacted my wife about a dispute with a property line and easement. They think they own a county easement and can clear trees/bushes that do not belong to them. They have completely destroyed a natural barrier of bushes and trees that separates my property and theirs. Keep in mind the bushes and trees they destroyed are passed their property marker and fall under an easement based on land plots. Clowns.Jagoe Homes, Inc. Response

From our Land Dept. VP - I apologize if my telephone conversation was perceived as rude or disrespectful, that certainly was not my intention. The area in question is where a Jagoe Homes, Inc. property adjoins Mr. V*****'s property. Per my conversation with Mrs. V***** on Saturday December 3rd, 2022, I explained to Mrs. V***** that there is no property owned by Warren County between the two properties. Per the recorded plat dated March 18, 2022 in Major Plat Book 44, Page 484, that was provided to Mrs. V***** and a follow up conversation with the Executive Director of the Warren County City-County Planning Commission each property is owned to a common boundary between the two sites that back up to one another. No other entity owns property between the two parcels. The recorded plat does show a 10' wide electrical easement as well as a 20' wide drainage easement located on the rear of the Jagoe property. There is also a 10' wide telephone easement on the rear of the Vernon property. These easements provide the respective entities access to the area for maintenance of existing facilities as well as placement of future infrastructure. There are no restrictions related to clearing within this area. Our goal was to clear any weeds, briars, and underbrush, leaving any mature trees so that our property could be sodded to the rear property pins. This boundary was marked by a third party Kentucky registered surveyor and the line was verified by our staff. Our excavation contractor did not cross over onto the V*****'s property. I have explained to Mrs. V***** that we would be happy to entertain any information that she may have that is in conflict with the recorded plat. Furthermore, our Sales staff will reach out to our customers to discuss their expectations for the rear of their property. If the customer does not want any additional undergrowth to be disturbed and would like for us to stop the sod short of the property line, we will certainly make our best effort to meet our customer's expectations. As I indicated in my previous conversation with Mrs. V*****, I would be happy to meet onsite to discuss the concerns.Review from MaryAnn N

I purchased a Jagoe Home in July 2021. Little did I know at the time, all the problems a new house could have, and the headaches of getting things repaired. My house all last summer was surrounded by water - and I really didn't know I was purchasing a "waterfront" property. Jagoe came onto my property twice, without my permission, digging, trenching, removing topsoil, etc., to no avail. I have numerous texts, photos, emails trying to get this problem corrected. The house and all the surrounding houses were not built according to the approved MSD drawings - hence, the water problems. Now, Jagoe again wants to put a "moat" around my house, with nothing in writing, only "their word" that it will work. I have had a leak in a ceiling in a bedroom, tape and drywall falling down, weatherstrip on doors and garage door not correctly applied; plumbing backed up, numerous outside trim problems, some not even nailed or glued down, walls where if the sun shines, you can see all the tape joints in the drywall - and they charge a premium price for their houses.Jagoe Homes, Inc. Jagoe Homes, Inc. is aware of Mary ****** concerns of standing water in her rear yard. We are working with a third party registered engineer and surveyor to solve these issues. The solution designed by the engineer is in compliance with the MSD approved grading plan. The plan will eliminate standing water and will also eliminate a portion of the water upstream to the South in compliance with the original approved grading plan. We are currently ready to proceed with corrective measures per the approved plan at the homeowners convenience. The other exterior and interior repairs have been addressed per our records.
