5/25/2023 Upon making an appointment, I was told to bring cash due to their credit/debit card machine being broken today. This has happened on numerous occasions. There are no signs posted within the business regarding Cash Only or in regards to their machine being down. They will fail to inform you until you are completely finished with your appointment. If you do not have cash, they will harass you about it and try to embarrass you in front of the other clients. There have been many times where they forced me to go get cash to pay for my service. But not until you are completely finished. The credit/debit card isn’t broken. There were other clients that didn’t have access to cash and they had no choice but to accept their card in the long run. They will then be forceful about bringing cash to your next appointment. If you are like me, my nearest bank is 15 miles away from the nail salon therefore, this is costing me gas. I would rather have paid the 3% fee that is required than to have to drive to an ATM to obtain cash. If you don’t tip more than $5.00 they will also harass you about tipping more to their liking. During my appointment this day, I called at 12:00pm requesting an appointment at 4:30. I was able to get my pedicure done immediately but it wasn’t until 7:00pm were they able to start on my fill-in. They also began working on another client at the same time as me, putting her at the same station using the same supplies on her as they did on me. Which is unsanitary. I asked them 3 times to correct my nails but they are still not up to satisfactory. The nail tech had the drill bit speed to high causing it to make cuts into my skin causing my nails to bleed on my index finger, middle finger, thumb, and ring finger. I complained about the blood and he told me to “relax”. Once they started putting polish on, my fingers felt as if they were on FIRE. They drilled my nails down to the raw nail bit. I’m in pain. It cost $115.00. This happens all the time.Business response
