Buyer Beware! DO NOT use Window World of Paducah, KY. I ordered new vinyl shakers for the sides of my house in February 2022. It took them 5 months to come in (they said it was due to Covid, but later I find out they get them from a local roofer's supply store in town). Then, they missed coming for 7 days straight and kept giving excuses that the installers were tied up fixing a previous job. They finally started last week. They worked on a Tuesday, didn't show up on Wednesday, worked on Thursday and worked part of a day on Friday and left early. The installers said they were working on my house all-weekend and would be here Saturday and Sunday and didn't show up either day. They left all their tools, trash, old siding and the like spread across the yard and then we got a strong storm over the weekend so I had to get up on the roof and cover everything because they left the roof exposed. DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT use this company.

Ordered set of windows in Oct 2021. They were finally installed Feb. 2022. Some yellowish stain on window frames and onto siding. Window World sent out someone that could not remove the stain and told my spouse that they would order a new set of windows and replace these as well as locate some siding to match and replaced discoloration. I sent message that I had extra siding to replace. I also ordered a window for an upstairs dormer area in bedroom Nov. 2021. Window World sent a text to asking if this one afternoon in late March would work for them to install this window. The timing did not work for us, so they texted that they didn’t know when they would be able to get another install date. I’m done with this business. I want the windows in garage replaced properly and the dormer window installed properly. I think 6 months for 2 windows to be ordered and installed is plenty of time. How many others out there have their monies tied up with Window World. I’ve never heard from the sales person to check up on what they sold. If my business took people’s money and banked it for 6 months before the service was performed that would produce a pretty good interest return. I’m not a customer, I’m a victim!

Ordered siding in 2021, installers arrived with siding in January of 2022. I understand supply chain disruptions, not even an issue. We paid for premium and what was delivered was not what we paid for. The installers were about to start putting the siding on after they had already started ripping our old siding off until they were stopped. We were offered $300 off at this point we just want siding on the house. A phone call was placed to Window World and they assured us what was going on the house was what we paid for. Although the description on the box stated otherwise. The total difference between what was installed vs what was put on the house is closer to 900 and this being after the $300 “discount” we were given. Installers stated to us this “happens all the time” Would not ever recommend this company for anything.

We installed 2 jobs for WW of Paducah and they have not paid us for our work. It has almost been a month since our work was performed. Owner is very rude and not professional.

Management at this Window World franchise is abysmal. My wife and I waited ONE YEAR for Window World of Paducah, KY to install a couple doors, and a storm door. It was a comedy of errors. First they - ‘they’ being Window World Installers - brought to our house the wrong colored back door. So, we agreed to install the wrong colored door until the correct colored door arrived. Also, when the wrong colored door arrived, they brought the storm door, but decided to hold off installing the storm door until the correct colored door arrived. Three months later, the correct colored back door arrived and was installed. They then were ready to install the storm door - the door we had stored in our storage building for 3 months. When they opened the storm door box, they discovered it too, was the wrong color. So, we waited another 3 months for the correct colored storm door to arrive. When the correct colored storm door arrived, they installed the door backwards. So, we waited two weeks until a more experienced installer arrived to correct the problem. After the storm door was properly installed, the pneumatic cylinder failed. The experienced installer told us it failed because the previous installer had over tightened the fitting. We waited another two weeks for the replacement part. Window World of Paducah NEVER calls to update the customer on the status of parts, or availability of installers. I’ve had to initiate every call to Window World. When I confronted the manager, Mike Trout, and asked why his office never called, he said, “I had nothing to say.” I cannot emphasize strongly enough, that this Window World of Paducah should NOT be contracted to install windows, siding or doors, and should be avoided.
