Job was done twice. Second time worse. Concrete on pavers, concrete excess, no expansion joints, crack in concrete. After less than a year, steps uneven and not level. Bottom next to sidewalk not smooth. (foot prints) Pictures attachedInitial Complaint

My husband and I signed a contract for Cornerstone Masons to build a brick porch and steps. It took almoat three months for the job to be completed. On December 11, 2020, a very cold December night Mr ***** ***** said the job was done. He said he sealed it, which turned into a mess, a white spotty film on our porch that looked terrible. There were several bricks that had insufficient mortar between some of the bricks We made several attempts to contact Mr ***** *****, he would either choose not to answer his phone, never returned our calls or would have some kind of flimsy excuse l his office manager had stolen all of his money, his entire work crew quit, always had an excuse for not completing the job. Finally in February of this year I left him a message that I was tired of waiting and I wanted the job completed or I was going to file this complaint. He said he " just can't do that right now" he said that several times. A few weeks later I noticed a man on my porch, it was dark it scared me. My husband went to the door and he told my husband that he was trying to get this mess straightened out, said he'd be back the next day.......didn't happen. If anything it's worse, we now have mortar on top of the brick it's a total mess. Mr ***** had all last summer to correct this problem, he choose not to, We paid him good money and we feel like we have been taken advantage of probably due to our age. We want this job completed; removing the excessive mortar from the top of the bricks, we want it power washed as the contract states and we want a good sealer, which is what he said he would do after he had tor remove the other sealer. It needs to be completed within 10 days no exceptions. There may be other issues not mentioned here
