my husband ordered windows doors and siding in March 2022 was told at that time it could take up to 20 weeks to get all of the material which we were ok with, then my husband passed away unexpectedly in June. I called Window World the week after my husbands services and ask if I could cancel the order was told no that the siding had been delivered. I have been calling since August to see when they were going to do the installation I told them that I was leaving in September for the winter and they promise the would start ever Monday in September and this is Tuesday September and they still haven't come out and have not called any time there has been an correspondence I have called.Business response

I spoke with the homeowner on 9/29/22 and she informed me that my installers had gotten there about an hour after she filed the complaint. They were at the office loading the materials for the job. I responded to the complaint the same day (9/29) but the site locked up and I apologize it didn't come through. Everything is there and should be finished in the next couple weeks as it is a large job.Initial Complaint

Had a large picture window installed on January 2020. The window was not installed correctly because bugs were coming through and outside smells. Also the screens had gaps in the sides and the side panels on the window did not want to close completely and lock. I contacted the company, talked to ***** and he said he would send someone to check it out. I never heard from anyone. February 7, 2022 I called back, ***** answered the phone , told me it would take app 6 weeks to have new window come in. I call back in June 2022. ***** and another man, ***** came to my home, looked at the window. ***** suggested a new window be installed because the middle of the window was sagging bringing down the 2 side panels. These windows were not put in square when installed. Two young men in their early 20's were sent to install them. Next they tell me the window will be repaired and I agreed for that. Never heard from anyone even though I have called several times. My electric bill has gone up quite a bit since the air conditioning and heat in the winter has been escaping. I paid $1,400.00 and this is the type of service I get. Mental frustration from this ordeal is overwhelming. All I am asking for is decent service, a window that is installed correctly while keeping outside pests out, to be able to open side panels to let fresh air in and treated with respect. I spoke with the homeowner week of 7/11 and let her know the parts were in and the office would be scheduling it as soon as we had someone in the area (was most likely going to be a couple weeks).
I spoke with my office today and the crew that will be fixing it will be there this week (weather permitting as they are giving storms for the next 10 days) and will call before they come out to make sure someone is home for the repair
Please let me know if this will work so we may plan accordingly.

Window World will come out and replace any defective parts and send the installer back out to square up the window, as previously stated, as best we can in the opening. Please let me know when you would like to schedule the repairCustomer response

We ordered and paid for 1/2 on the windows on February 2021. They refuse to order our windows and schedule to put them in. Every time I call to check on my order status they say my windows are not in this order. When I paid in March I was told 12 weeks. That should have been by the end of June. We are now in July 19. I called today. My windows are not on this truck. So now it's going to be several more weeks. I am supposed to pay the other 1/2 when the windows are installed. I am filing a complaint because I honestly think they took my money and will never install our windows. I want an action done to rush my installation. My husband and I took off from work this week to prepare our house for the windows. Such as we are responsible for removing all curtains and furniture that are in front of the 7 windows that are supposed to be replaced.Business response
