I had to take a personal day off for their service. They had been providing bi-annual service calls for 5+ years. They called me at 9AM to cancel the 2-19-24 appointment, coincidentally Presidents Day. I'm not a believer in coincidence. This appointment was made approximately 2 weeks in advance. This service typically takes one employee 30-45 minutes to complete. They made no attempt to accommodate me in this situation. I re-scheduled 3-27-24, taking another personal day. I reminded them of their fiasco on 2-19-24, and asked for some consideration on the bill. Each personal day costs me $200+. They completed the service on 3-27, and their employee had the audacity to use a filter I happened to have without my permission. They charged me their full service amount $74.95.Business response

*** ******* *****s is a customer of ours. In the past we have tried to please him. On 8/5/2021 Invoice ***** we did a FREE system checkout. *** ****** called for our services, and we scheduled his checkout for 2/19/2024. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we had to reschedule *** ******. Our service coordinator, ******** *******, called *** ****** three days in advance to let him know of the reschedule. *** ****** asked for the date 3/27/2024 for the rescheduled checkout. *** ****** had plenty of time to advise his employer that he would be able to come to work and not have to take a personal day. I have attached all invoices pertaining to my explanation of what occurred. The invoice in question was Invoice ***** for $74.95. You will see the Invoice ***** is now $25.00 and was paid by *** ****** with check number 11665. *** ****** wrote the check on April 24, 2024. As Total Comfort is concerned this matter has been delt with and is resolved. *** ******' check should also presume that it is resolved.Initial Complaint

Aprox. 4 mo ago Total Comfort sent a tech to work on my AC compressor. The labor charge was $78. per hr. Today (7-2-22) a tech came by for the AC again. This time I was charged $225. per hr. because it was a holiday weekend. I think that if they planned to charge me 3x as much as they did the last time, I should have been notified in advance of the increase in price. I did not intend to hand them a blank check when I called for help. note: I have owned 2 businesses. I would never have thought for one second of charging a customer 3x what I did the last time without a warning. To me this is total B.S.Business response
