I had researched a few fence contractors and decided to go with the **** ******. He was the most fair price and seemed like he was trying to grow his local and newly owned business. He seemed honest and trustworthy. He delivered his promise of installing the fence. He also promised me that if I was not happy with the fence alone he would come and install the stabilizing wire at the bottom. I ask him several times before I committed. He even (supposedly) ordered the wire but had not got time to come back and install. I gave him months of grace and being understanding of: the wire is on back order, he had gotten so busy that he hadn’t had a chance to install it, the last excuse was he had employee issues and one that was ill. I was very understanding for a long time. My fence was damaged and I needed him to fix and of course I still wanted the wire installed. He ask me to send him a picture of the damage. I did. He responded by saying a lawnmower caused the damage. I just needed it fixed. In which he also promised, and there was no need to write out a contract that he is a “man of his word”. The last call we had he said he would get to it as soon as he could. After that he no longer accepted my calls. He answered all of the 3 people I had call him to inquire about fencing, but not my calls. The fence was to be black coated chain link. He also painted some of the fencing vs factory coating. I didn’t say anything – I just let it go! I know this because my neighbor took pictures of the installation while I was at work. He was paid an extra 50.00 by mistake but we decided he just keep as we still will have to pay for the additional monies for the wiring. It’s almost as if he refused to put the wire on. He also refused to come back and fix my fence. He apparently had other obligations and was already paid by me and had no intention of following through with the wire or anything else.
