We had our roof replaced by Ideal Roof in May of 2023. During the process 2 of our 3 skylight's were broken beyond repair. The company agreed to replace them. However, the used materials not designed for or used on Mobile homes. This resulted in catastrophic leaks into our bathrooms and kitchen two times. This resulted in extensive damage to both bathrooms and kitchen area. Currently we have another company coming out to give us a estimate for repairs to properly correct our issues.

**** ***** did not pay at the completion of the roof as contracted. He said he spent the money and didn’t have it. The skylights were not replaced as part of the wind claim estimate from ***** ****. A week later when we discussed payment. He said he had a sky light issue.  So we did replace the 3 skylights and supplemented the insurance company hoping they would to pay the cost for replacement. He gave us a check for partial payment so we would work on the leak. We put replacement skylight for a trailer as he had. He was not happy with the quality of the skylight but us was a replacement to what was on the trailer, we replaced these even though we hadn’t received the payment on the original work and the skylights were not on the claim estimate. He called had a small leak after the big sunday storm of 110 mph winds and rain. We asked again for payment for the original replacement of the roof, he then would not allow us on his property to repair. We sent workers to look at the roof and was told to leave. All his damage is from him not allowing access. Just last week we got this approved by his insurance for the supplement for the additional work needed and has revived the payment. He has got a bid from another company to replace the skylights and is wanting us to pay for it. The issue is we haven’t been paid for the contracted work and he has received the money to replace the skylight from ***** ****. We have obtained a Lawyer and are taking legal action, failure to pay and insurance fraud.
