Ugh I was so excited about my new couch set I purchased on Saturday. *** was super friendly, price matched for me, and the sale was easy. We got it home, unwrapped it, and it's damaged. Whatever happened to good honest business owners?! If you decide to purchase from here, be sure to double check everything before leaving the store or scheduling shipping!! If it's wrapped don't make the mistake we did. Unwrap it right there in the store and inspect it. I'm so disappointed in the manner in which the owner handled my issue. Please reconsider going here and spread the word so others don't end up in my same situation!!Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/11) */ it was not damaged upon leaving the store. ****** furniture carries NO warranty, that is provided by the manufacture *********. we (****** furniture) have to follow their rules when submitting a claim! they only cover manufacture defects in fabric such as stitching coming undone or something that would be considered damaged due to manufactures negligence. the specific spot was not tore at our store or upon leaving our store therefore ********* will not honor the warranty. occasionally people will push, shove, and force their furniture thru their home doorways and tear small holes in them at the exact location of the pictures I received. I advised the customer she would have to pay the repair company herself to fix it and I offered her the number, within minutes of that happening she was degrading us all over our business ******** page where we advertise along with she had family members commenting on unrelated post telling people not to shop with us and so on and so forth and less then 5 minutes she gave us a negative google review along with her family. we don't carry the warranty on the furniture the manufacture does as I stated and we have to follow their rules when we submit a claim and if it is not a manufacture defect they will not cover it. and I explained to the customer since we sold it to her at a clearance price already and gave her a HUGE discount we can not pay to have it fixed for her to (even though we didnt tear it up) and it wasn't tore upon leaving our store.
