On September 9, 2020, I had to have a brand new 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT 6.2L Trail Boss towed in to the dealership, due to my vehicle not starting with only 10,088 miles on it. After several attempts to jump the vehicle off and the letting the battery charge, the vehicle would still not start, resulting in it being towed to Don Franklin Somerset, in which they were supposed to "fix" the issue. They assured me this was an issue regarding a bad battery. This issue was obviously not fixed. On December 2, 2020, with only 15,539 miles on the vehicle I had to take my truck back to Somerset for them to "fix" some electrical issues such as, horn randomly honking, flashers going off, lights coming on, turn signals coming on, and tailgate randomly falling, all while the vehicle was parked and turned off, with key fob nowhere near another human. In addition, all of my screens such as the radio and the digital speedometer had also went out. On December 3, 2020, Don Franklin in Somerset, KY called me and told me my vehicle was done. Once arriving, they told me this issue was a result of bad battery connection with the positive battery cable. On February 21, 2022 with only 42,420 miles, I had similar issues. I retrieved an error message stating that I had no engine oil after just having it changed less than 2 months ago. In addition my engine light came on. When calling Don Franklin in Somerset, they told me to take it to Don Franklin Ford in London, KY. After changing the oil once again, they also tested my CEL, in which eight codes came back. Their service manage told me to take it back to Somerset immediately and have them check it out. Before driving all the way back to Somerset, I called them to make sure they would fix it this time, and they told me that would not fall under my powertrain warranty and that I needed to drive it until something happened to it, because they simply did not know how or want to fix this issue.
