    Having just bought a house in Versailles, KY, I was in need of help to repair/construct a few things. I retained the services of Noss Services, as the young man responding to my ad, seemed very nice and stated he could do everything on my list. I hired him in April and here it is June, with the job still not being completed, but I wrote a check May 5, which he cashed, for the agreed upon price of $1100, since had to pay a plumber $229 for fixing the problem he left me with under my sink, rendering it inoperable and not bothering to return until two weeks later, My gate is still not fixed, will include pics of that, nor is the ramp built for my little one-eyed 13 year old dog! I have messaged him several times to return to complete all, with the last being May 17, before the one I sent today. My hope is that he will finish the work he has already been paid to do, and yes, I have learned to never pay anyone until all work is completed.     Matthew gave us an estimate to do yard work (detailed in written estimate below). He quoted $350-$400. I received an email invoice for $530. As this was over $100 more than quoted, I emailed to tell him we'd have to hold off. I didn't receive a response, but he did text, saying we were "on the books" for the next week. I texted him that I'd sent an email saying we had to hold off, since we'd budgeted for the $350 to $400 he'd quoted, and it was quite a bit more than that. I apologized if the email "got lost in cyberspace". He replied "we can do it for $400, is that not what the estimate says?" I responded that it said $530 and he replied "it should be $400 plus tax I'll change it and send it back". The invoice he sent said "Trim back bushes remove weeds from landscape beds and put down weed barrier and need mulch next to generac" $400.00 (tax $24) Total $424. His team arrived while I was gone & left shortly after I got home. I went outside to check the progress and noted that the hedge, which we'd been assured could be evened out, looked worse than it did before being trimmed. The flower bed hadn't been noticeably touched. The team came back & left again, approx 15 minutes later. Matthew calls within a few minutes to find out if I'm home so he can get the check, and asked if I was pleased. It went downhill from there. I was admittedly upset, told him so and he said he'd come out. When I said how bad the hedges looked, he said he shouldn't have to tell us the hedges couldn't be made even. He refused to lay the weed barrier & mulch, saying that's what made the price $530. When I showed him the invoice I received from him $424 ,he showed me his app that said only part of what my invoice said. His app conveniently left off the weed barrier & mulch. When I asked how I had received one invoice yet he "sent" something different, he paraphrased my cyberspace comment from my email. I have since found out that others have had problems with him too.
