Paid Friendly Auto to replace the engine in my 2016 Ford Edge. Was told the job would total $4,550- $3,500 for the engine, due upfront, and $1,050 for the labor, due upon pick up of completed job. Paid for the engine on 7/15/21 via credit card. Paid for the labor on 9/13/21 via credit card when the vehicle was done and ready for pickup. Had issues with the engine again and reached back out to ***** the owner of Friendly Auto. Did not hear back from him. Took it to another repair shop because it was having severe issues again. They said it needed a new engine. I approved another engine replacement and asked the shop to check the VIN on the engine. It came back with matching VIN to the vehicle as it was the original factory engine. Friendly Auto had not replaced the engine at all, hence why it was having the same issues again.Business response

The person’s name is ***** He is the only person that I dealt with and he represented himself as the owner of the business.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ** ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.
The matter of receipts is not the issue at hand, if he wants computer-aided generated receipts then I can show the charge to my credit card under friendly one auto repair.

The dates for the charges correspond with the receipts that have already been submitted. Ivan can state that he never gave receipts but does not address the issue at hand. **** is arguing type of receipt and not bring resolution to the problem of him charging me for a full engine replacement and not completing the agreed upon work.**** *** ********* **** ********* ******* **The person’s name is ****.
