Ridge vents not installed as the previous vents removed; much shorter and not esthetically pleasing and probably want be as energy efficientThis company replaced my shingles after Hurricane Ida I thought they did a good job but later was informed by other professionals the roof vents were not completed per standard 1 cap missing on vent with potential for water leaks 2. A vent which was not attached and not functional should have been removed. Now I have to have vent removed and seal opening and install more shingles 4.I was informed by current contractor the shingles replaced by are a cheaper shingle than what they would have used. I was in a position to pay for better quality 5. Communication about issues have not been addressed favorably and want acknowledge fault. 6. Would never recommend.

Please see the following response to # 17238910. LSR installed Ms. ******s roof in September 2021. As with all roof pipes extending through the roof we are not responsible for anything on the inside. That requires a plumber or hvac company. In most cases the insurance company does not pay for that. We were not shown her breakdown to see if approved if so we would have had her contact the proper service provider. Regarding the ridge vent installed. Lomanco shingle over ridge vent was used which is standard practice. IKO Laminated Architectual shingles were used. The manufacturer warranty is comparable to the other brands. We gave Ms. ****** a $500.00 dollar discount for a few flowers damaged during installation. We had several conversations with Ms. ****** to understand her issues and resolve them, each time she would say its ok then call us back and we would ask what can we do to resolve this issue. We offered to pay $300.00 that she paid someone to do the work she thought needed to be done. Upon receiving your letter we attempted to call her for resolution. She hung up. Our agreement clearly states that all the work listed has been completed. We certainly welcome the opportunity to resolve this matter reasonably. Louisiana Statewide Renovators LLC.

Upon reviewing Ms. ******s State Farm estimate (which we did not have access to). Listed as item #12 Flashing pipe jack lead. It is our practice to remove lead pipes because squirrels eat them. We installed pipe boots with aluminum base and polyurethane sleeves. Noted as 3 in 1 on our agreement with Ms. ******. Regarding item #13 rain cap storm collar. In most cases they are not replaced unless a hail storm shows visible dents. If we would have seen her scope of work from State Farm we would have changed them. Regarding the shingle used on her home. It is the same shingle I selected to use on my home 1 1/2 years ago. I have access to all shingle manufacturers and chose the same color and brand as on her home. I again am offering to communicate with Ms. ****** to resolve her concerns.

I think I made it clear that I'm waiting on Rene the Tinner, the contractor, who will now complete the work of changing the vents and restoring shingles that must be removed.
Statewide did not offer to return and do this so I got several other opinions. Statewide did not offer me a resolution on the issues but only that they completed the roofing correctly.
When I receive the invoice for completion of the work I will send to u.
Rain is now hindering the work.
