My Dumpster Trash Service Contract is with Delta Disposals that I signed back in 2021 states that my service monthly amount is $110.00 per month (attached). Now its no longer Delta Disposals and must have changed to Waste Connections they are wanting to charge me $198.36 per month for service. This is absolutely outrageous, I did not agree to this price of 198.36 (see attached recent bill received). This company cant tell me that its the price increase due to fuel costs bc fuel costs is not as high as it used to be. I want this company that is named on the contract to honor the contract price they offered me service for.. I signed my contract with Delta Disposals and not Waste Connections to which this must be the company that bought Delta Disposals out. My contract price is $110.00/per month, I am requesting a written response from company and to honor the amount I signed in my contract and to adjust my monthly bill..(attached)Business response

We will be reaching out to the customer to resolve this issue. In the contract attached it does state that we can increase prices, but will communicate with the customer and resolve the issue.Initial Complaint

Have been a reliable customer for years. Our address is on a gravel road so the company will not drive all the way to our home to pick up trash. We have the can at the end of the road for years and last week someone stole it (we guess). I contacted Waste Connections, and they said I would be responsible to pay for a new can. The person on the phone said it was not their responsibility. I would think a company has an obligation to their customers and I think other customers should know. I have cancelled my service with them, and they should refund me any pre-paymentsBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2023/01/24) */ I have tried to reach out to the customer in reference to this complaint. ****** *****. The number we have on file has a recording that it is no longer in service. I have no notes on this account that the customer called us for any issues. The account is in ****** *****'s name. The only reference to ******, is the email address. We still to this day, service this address, and the account is in good standing. If there is anything else we can do, please let me know.
