      My car would not start, the Tech ****** ******** said the problem with my car was the starter and changed the starter, but it my car still wouldn't start. I had to pay $1,117.56 and now their saying its more than just the starter. I really wanted a refund they wouldn't give it to me.

      Mr. *****,

      I talked to the service manager and investigated your concerns.  The Malibu was brought in because of failure to start.  After examining the car, it was found to have physical damage to the starter to the extent that the starter housing was broken off.  To check a vehicle that does not start, it must have a starter.  Once you gave permission to change the starter, it appears that there were numerous other issues to the car that prohibited it running properly.  I understand that you are upset, but there are other issues, including the timing chain.  The starter is working, but the other issues need to be addressed also.  Sorry about your experience, but the starter does work.  Please call **** ***** or **** ***** should you have any other questions or concerns.

      My new truck broke down, it has been in the service department for 9 days and has not been look at AT ALL. It is in the same spot it was dropped off at by the tow truck. They don't have a loaner vehicle and refuse to help me with one. Multiple conversations with the department I have been lied to saying they will look at my truck and have not. My truck is under warranty I feel like they refuse to look at my vehicle because I did not buy it there.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/09) */ 05/26/2022 -Mr. ***** contacted us and informed us that his vehicle had stopped running and the check engine light was on. Mr. ***** wanted to have his vehicle towed to our shop and wanted to know how soon it would be looked at. We informed Mr. ***** that we schedule by appointment and that a tow in would have to be worked in after scheduled appointments (we are currently extremely busy and lead time on appointments is 7-10 days). Mr. ***** had the vehicle towed to us and called several times to check status and each time we responded that we are trying to work it in and will let him know as soon as we can. 06/03/2022- vehicle was brought into shop and has loud knock in engine. Customer was informed 06/03/2022 that we will need to perform a tear down of the engine to determine cause of failure. 06/07/2022- We are currently in the tear down phase of this repair. If Mr. ***** is not happy with our service he can take it to any dealer he chooses. **** McCann Service Manager Southern Chevrolet ************
