On June 6, 2022, we contracted with Re-Bath of Baton Rouge, to build us a new shower. *****, the sales consultant, came and helped us pick out the fixtures we wanted and also took 3 separate measurements that would be necessary to order the materials needed. After selecting the pattern and fixtures, we agreed upon a price and was told that it would be a few weeks before the shower would be put in. In Mid-September, 2022, Re-Bath sent two men to install our shower. After they had laid all the paper throughout the house to protect our floors, they began to tear out the shower. Note: They took no measurements before tearing out the shower to make sure that the materials, the shower pan specifically was the right size. After COMPLETELY tearing the shower completely out of the wall, they realized that the shower pan was 2 inches shorter. *** and ******* the helper, then loaded their tools and left, with really no explanation, except we knew they were going to order a new pan. WE WERE LEFT WITH NO SHOWER.... just a big hole where our old shower once stood, One month later, October 25, 2022, a new worker arrived with the correct shower pan and began installing our new shower. On Monday October 31, 2022, Terry, the worker, completed our beautiful new shower and asked that we not used it for a few days due to the caulking. On Monday, November 7, 2022, the first time I used the new shower, I immediately noticed a popping noise coming from the shower pan itself. This noise occurred while I was showering and kept on popping even after I got out of the shower for at least 15 minutes or more. It happens everyday from that day to this day. We have contacted Tiffany at Re Bath several times and told her of the problem with the shower. We have a life-time warranty on this shower and there is no reason for Re Bath to ignore our request to have someone come out and take a look at what’s going on.Business response

This customer had an issue with the acrylic separating from the substrate on her base. When hot water warmed up the base and made it more flexible, they would step out and it would “pop”. We did a site visit on 3/1/23 to determine what the problem was. We submitted the warranty paperwork and it was approved. Materials were ordered and are coming off the truck by 3/31/23. We are scheduled for the install on 4/11 and the customer has been contacted, and is in the loop. Terry was the original installer and the customer asked for him to do the change out. Customer was very pleased with how we handled this situation.Initial Complaint

A crack has developed in the base of the shower replacement that was installed by Rebath of Baton Rouge. Upon installation a lifetime warranty was issued stating replacement or repair of ever damaged. Rebath has been contacted several times for repair or replacement. Each time called documentation of installation is requested. Pictures has been sent and have been told someone will return a call, yet nothing has happened. Now when called a voicemail always pick up and ask to leave a message. When message is left, no calls are return. Rebath is not sticking to their policy and is only helpful until they’re paid. Any issues arriving after payment goes unanswered.Business response
