            I paid 3500 to have the aluminum fence ordered in June 2023. They came and installed the next week. One of the 2 gates were damaged in transit but installed. I was told they would order another one and install it next week. I made the mistake of paying the remain 3500 before I was satisfied with the job. He offered to install a 6 ft gate since the 5ft gates were backorder. They came and installed it but it does not match. Here we are in Feb and I have finally confirmed They have the 5ft gate at his shop but he will not come install it and finish the job. Many other promises were made about the poor install. The entire back run of the fence has the panels sunk into ground. He said he would fix it but when he came out he changed his story and said he can't because he would lose money. I have heard every excuse under the sun as to why he has not at the very least installed the matching gate as it is stated in my invoice.

            Unfortunately I am also a victim of Forrest Scott Fencing. It seems like there is a trend to the complaints filed here. I should have been smart enough to investigate him before hiring him. All I need is about an hour of follow up work to remedy the issue. He installed a defective lock and knob on my walk through gate. Apparently he feels he doesn't have any obligation to resolve the problem. I called him at least a dozen times. I never once indicated my frustration, I merely asked for what I paid for. He promised at least 5 times, "We will be there first thing in the morning." So now, my number is apparently blocked because I can't even get an answer. At this point, I don't even want any resolution from him. I will fix the problem myself and chalk up the experience to lesson learned. I'm sure as long as they have been in business they probably have a few satisfied customers. But considering how easily he could be receiving a positive review from me instead of a bad one, he apparently isn't concerned with his reputation. I strongly urge anyone considering Forrest Scott Fencing for their work to think twice.
