I had a fire at my house Sept. 13 th of 2021. This company was contracted to repair my house at a cost of $60,000 plus dollars. 8 months later I still don't even have all the windows installed in my house. The people they send over (rarely more than one person) are unqualified and are injuring themselves while working on my house.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/24) */ We met with the customers and we discussed the remaining items left to complete the project. The PM has a detailed list that was completed by him and the homeowner of the remaining list. Customer was in agreement. We then met with the subcontractors on the job and laid out the remaining schedule. We provided the *****'s with the schedule and they are in agreement with the remaining time needed. Below is the list of items and the schedule of work. 5/24/22 - Install interior shoe molding Install exterior cedar planks 5/25/22 - Apply roof sealant 5/26/22 - Install window panes Install interior trim 5/27/22 - Not scheduled, customer has company 5/30/22 - Install laundry room paneling Finish installing interior trim Install exterior porch lights 5/31/22 - 6/2/22 - Punchlist 6/3/22 - Walkthrough with homeowner Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/06/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Everything listed above is not done except the paneling in the laundry room , some of the items are in progress but the quality of the work is causing re-work. The dates above are not realistic when there is only person onsite who is not trained for the work still needing to be done. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/06/04) */ We are finalizing the trim carpentry, trim carpenter was out sick and we lost two days there. PM has a final punch list he and Mrs. ***** recorded today, 6/3/2022. We are replacing a few pieces of window trim she is unhappy with saying it did not match to her liking so we agreed to replace. As for the list that was sent at the beginning here is the current status 1. Shoe molding - part of the final trim installation 2. Exterior cedar - installed 3. Roof sealant - full coverage was applied, customer is stating there is a "light area" on the back corner. We are going to put another coat on that area first part of next week 4. Window panes - installed 5. Interior trim - part of final trim installation 6. Laundry room - installed 7. Exterior porch lights - waiting on customers final material selection Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2022/06/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) It wasn't that she was unhappy-THE CONTRATORS USED THE WRONG MATERIAL. At least 30 boards were used AFTER we pointed out it was not the right wood. Our ENTIRE house is made out of ROUGH CUT cedar and Pine. with the wrong wood, This makes our house look patchworked and will depreciate the home value. Not only is the work not finished, some of it needs to be redone because there is little to no oversight over the ONE handy man that is usually the only person on site, resulting in days being wasted nailing the wrong boards with the wrong nails (roofing tacks instead of actual finishing nails) to the home. if this company feels this is acceptable work, we ask they proudly display this work on their business page. They have already begged us not to do so-which is very telling in itself. We chose this company through our insurance, so we would have quality, insured work that wouldn't depreciate our home value. This has not been the case and we have been made to feel like problemed clients for simply wanting timely work, with the right materials. Instead we have experienced our home being exposed for MONTHS. This has been ongoing for over eight months. Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2022/06/07) */ We anticipate to be complete by the end of the week Consumer Response /* (4200, 15, 2022/06/10) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Well its Friday at 10am and no one is here again. While some things have been finished, there were significant delays due to using a handy man on trim work that needed a skilled trim carpenter due to window mismeasurements and using the WRONG type of wood. There is still a lot of stuff inside to do, but once again this company is using supply chain excuses as to why no one is here. This has been an ongoing excuse, despite having this project since NOVEMBER. But there has been some good progress too. Project management seems to be a huge issue here. After this long, supplies should have been sorted out and there is a lot of time wasted simply undoing what their handy man did while not supervised. So moving forward, I'd appreciate them sorting out their material issues, over seeing their handy men so further damages to the wood don't occur, and to actually make the deadlines they give. Out of an entire work week, we had people here two days. Business Response /* (4000, 17, 2022/06/13) */ The customer is correct, we have ordered the specialty baseboards that didn't come in. We anticipate to be complete by the end of the week

I had a claim with ******** and was given Guarantee restoration as a provider of services. They came and did the work but the work is shotty at best. After almost a year of them coming then not showing up for a while. I requested they repair the kitchen completely before I signed the form. They said I had a year of warranty and they would come and finish the work as well they just wanted to get paid. I requested a copy of the form and they have yet to give me a copy. I have called them numerous times and they no longer return my calls. I want my kitchen repaired as they were paid for my kitchen to be put back like it was and it is not.
