1 starTwo incidents have happened at this dealership. One on sales side & one on service side. First was when we were inquiring about a new truck.. We were accused of rolling back odometer on our truck, which was false. We were also told the front end had a wobble, which was false because we had just had new tires balanced and front end alignment. They didn’t even offer fair market b/c of these things. We walked away which is fine because there are many other dealerships to choose from. Second is what did it in for this place of business. They do not have 3.2 stars for good service, but I have had service done before & it has seemed fine but not today. I scheduled oil change and tire rotation. After 30 minutes I was approached by service desk receptionist saying my engine filter and in-cabin filter needed to be changed b/c they were dirty. I said to the guy, that’s funny because I just changed them myself this morning. He looked at me with a surprise look on his face & went & told service. He then came back & said management was notified. I’m questioning if they are doing the services they are claiming to do & how many other customers they have tried to screw. Do you know the service manager never came out to address situation. Of course if I were her I would try have made things right & reassured customer. I paid for the services of oil change there was no discount to reflect their screw up but that is fine b/c I am going to pay for what I have scheduled to do. Before, I left I checked to make sure my tires and oil change did indeed take place. Which to my knowledge looks to be true. Since she never addressed situation I contacted GM of All Star around and left a message. Still hadn’t received a courtesy call by same day. I left another message. I will reach out to CEO of this company to report problem just so this doesn’t happen to an elderly person or someone that doesn’t know much about vehicles. I am furious how they do business and not be bothered.Review fromMichael H

Ordered a few bolts and nuts to have while replacing my steering rack. I knew one bolt for sure needed replacement but seeing as how their site listed all the bolts I might need as available, I thought I might aswell get the others just in case. I also paid for expedited shipping as I needed the part by a certain day. The day before the order was originally supposed to arrive and days after the order was placed I received an email telling me a few of the bolts I ordered were on back order therefore delaying my order. They ended up shipping my order about a week after it was originally placed and they shipped it ground, which was not what I paid for. My experience with this company has been nothing but disappointment. I am missing a week of work as my vehicle is not operable until I receive that one bolt. They failed to list proper availability on their site, take days to inform of a delay and then ship standard when I paid for expedited. As far as I’m concerned that’s theft. All Star Automotive Group

I recently traded in a Tesla for a used Toyota here. I wish I could write a positive review as most of the experience was good. No curveballs and I was in and out in less than an hour. But on my way home I got a call from them demanding that I send in an aftermarket charging adapter that they thought should be included with the car. Mind you, even if you buy a brand new Tesla, Tesla themselves don't include this with the purchase. This is something I paid for separately and I didn't think they were entitled to this, especially in the disrespectful tone they were using. Eventually, I was transferred to a manager who threatened to block the title transfer unless I mailed in the adapter. When I declined, he hung up on me. Later that day, they used my Tesla account and credit card to spend $22 on supercharging (a charge that I successfully disputed with my credit card company). I would not recommend doing business with this company. There are plenty of honest dealerships but unfortunately this is not one of them. All Star Automotive Group

If there was an option for no stars given to be given that would be what they would receive!!! After being loyal customers who have purchased MULTIPLE vehicles and utilized their service departments, All Star has proven to be worried about the money coming in and going in their pockets only. All Star Chevrolet literally caught our 2020 Chevrolet Silverado that was paid off on fire in their service department during a lifter change. Then proceeded to lie about it. After going back and forth with them (**** *****-service manager, *********** *******- General Manager, and ****** **********-Service Director) they offered an "extended warranty" to which they provided the contract to us for and 3 weeks after their incompetent service department "fixed the truck", we were right back over there with issues with the truck. I refused to leave with the truck again from there so it was traded in on a new vehicle, so again your welcome All Star for another unit moved off your lot ( it certainly will be the LAST vehicle our family will ever purchase from an All Star dealership). We ended up finding out that they never sent the contract in for the extended warranty on the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado. They are crooks and also put the vehicle that caught on fire for sale without properly reporting the fire to Carfax. So I hope the next victim did their research and looked under the hood of that truck as there was still fire extinguisher powder on parts in the engine bay!!! STAY AWAY FROM ANY ALL STAR DEALERSHIP!!!! Also, the owner, **** ***** and ***** ******(Risk Manager) were both contacted more than once with no reply what so ever which is pitiful considering the circumstances of this event. All Star Automotive Group

On the morning of 19Nov2024 i contacted All Star Genesis in Baton Rouge, LA and inquired about a 2025 Genesis GV80 Coupe VIN: ***************** a white exterior with tan and green interior. A sales man named ***** ******** reached out and we began the negotiating the pricing and explained to him that we would be using the Circle Discount plan through Hyundai. Later in the morning we agreed on the pricing but didn't want to use Genesis financing due to their higher than credit union rates and ***** said that wasn't a problem. Since we agreed on the pricing my wife ******** went ahead and applied for financing through our credit union and we were just waiting on the dealership to contact us with final steps to complete the sale. All of this was accomplished by noon and hadn't heard back from the dealership so we tried reaching Sales and ***** with no luck. At 2pm ***** from sales texted me and said he was in training and that he would call me back in an hour. By 4pm i was calling him with no luck. At 6:30pm one of the managers named *** called me and told me although ***** was selling the vehicle to us that they could NO LONGER sell to us because we were not using Genesis financing, i explained to him that the Finance manager from earlier had already gave the approval to use our own financing but he said he would not sell us the vehicle. The reason i am upset with this is because now my wife's good credit has a hard credit pull on it which will lower it considerably. If the dealership would have been up front we would have not done our own financing or business with them to begin with. This business should be held accountable for refusing to sell a vehicle to us that we have been working so hard to get ALL day!!!!!! This kind of treatment from a dealership needs to be in the media to inform consumers. All Star Automotive Group

9/16/2024 - I dropped my car off on August 27th for 2 recalls, brakes, and throttle services to be completed. The service manager says my car will be ready Friday, September 20, 2024. ***** **** and ***** ******** saved the day! They gave me a very nice loaner car to use while I wait for the services to be completed on my 2015 Genesis! Thank You so Much! All Star Automotive Group

I went to visit All Star CDJR in Denham Springs on August 23, 2024 after scheduling an appointment through CarFax to test drive Hyundai Kona 2020. After test driving the SUV and getting a quote; I submitted quote to USAA Bank for approval of auto loan. Loan was approved on August 28, 2024. I contacted Sales person ****** ****** on August 31, 2024 to make sure that the automobile was available. ****** stated that it was available. I asked him if they would be open on Labor Day September 2, 2024 he stated yes. On September 2, 2024 I contacted ****** and he asked who was financing the vehicle and I said USAA. Sales person ****** then explained that the dealership did not accept loans from banks outside of Louisiana. I explained that USAA is a worldwide bank. ****** inquired of his supervisor about bank. Supervisor response was bank was ok. I inquired of ****** about point of contact for financing. No response. 5 minutes later I got a call from the dealership's finance manager ****** Johnson. I informed her my bank needed contact information to send Dealer Funding Request. Afterward, she inquired why did I use USAA. My response was I was comfortable using my bank. After ****** provided contact information she was persisted in redirecting me from USAA. Contact information was given to USAA. Documents was emailed to ******. ****** verified docs; stated she was not familiar with docs. I explained to ****** that the bank was requesting for a good rt. no. and acct. no. for wire transfer. ****** acknowledged request. ****** went further to say that I still need to do an application without going into detail on what the application consisted of. Communication was made between me and ****** for September 4, 2024 to meet and complete the app. 6 hours later ****** called and stated that vehicle had been purchased and was no longer available. I believe that this was fraudulent activity because I am stuck with a loan for a vehicle that has already been purchased. All Star Automotive Group

First time car/car insurance buyer. I bought my 2016 Chevrolet Malibu Lt from All Star Toyota on 07/01/24. I didn't get the car serviced before leaving the lot. On 07/29/24, I heard the engine while I was driving on my way to work, and it never went above 34 mph. I was told it could be a transmission and/or oil issue. When I took the car to the dealer later that day, I didn't have that problem anymore. I was told my car might be the type that needs to start up first, so I let it go. On 08/11/24, the car showed a message saying the a/c was turned off because the engine temp was high, idle engine. I called the dealer on 08/12/24, but I couldn't reach them. On the third call I made an appointment to get the car serviced. All Star Toyota wouldn't service the car I was sent to All Star Chevrolet North. On 08/14/24, Clint (mechanic responsible for my car) told me the radiator needs to be replaced and the warranty couldn't cover it because the excuse could be used that a rock hit the radiator. I was told it would cost $2,483.61, I went home feeling like there was nothing I could do. I never got a copy of the paperwork. I told a family friend what happened. On the ride back to All Star Toyota they told me I should've gotten a second opinion, looked at the radiator, and got a proper diagnosis of the problem. They told me I shouldn't have signed and I shouldn't have gone alone. They suggested I contact my insurance. When we got to All Star Toyota, I asked my dealer to look at the warranty paperwork with me. My dealer echoed family member and told me to call them first next time. That's when I learned I never got all of the paperwork for the warranty on 07/01/24. Later during the investigation for the claim, my insurer asked me to get the pre-inspection form for the car. They wanted to check if the car had problems before I bought or if the problem occurred during my month with the car. I didn't know about that form, my dealer told me it was deleted when I bought the car.All Star Automotive Group

I’ve been waiting on my overage check from all star Hyundai of Baton Rouge for going on over 2 months. I’ve called and spoken to just about every head person in their corporate office and NO ONE. Wants to help me. I’ve bought 4 cars from them and each time I’ve brought money to them. I don’t understand why won’t they help me and get my money back to me? Everyone in their office is acting lost as though no one knows what’s going on.All Star Automotive Group
