I was charged for drinks I didn't order. I asked for the $5 Jack N Coke (it was the Friday Drink special). The waitress confirmed I wanted singles and not doubles. I had two of those and on both she confirmed singles and even stated they were singles when she brought them to the table. When the bill came the ticket showed that I was billed for doubles. She and I were both confused. She stated that she remembered me asking for singles and rung it up that way. After trying to fix the ticket on her own she stated she couldn't without a manager. When the manager came, he said the waitress made a mistake and although it's on her, I still had to pay for the drinks. I told him I had no way of proving I received doubles because she said they were singles both times she brought them to the table. He said the best he could do was charge me for 3 singles..... So instead of paying $17 for drinks I didn't asked for, I could pay $15...instead of $10 I asked for. He stated that was meeting me in the middle How is that fair to me, who order 2 $5 singles. Please respond with how this will be resolved and no, I'm not looking for the young lady to be reprimanded. Please don't respond saying something like more training will be held. I want to know how you will resolve this with me, the customer. A free drink/meal; something needs to happen, and the manager needs additional training on conflict resolution/problem solving. That was not a good solution. I paid for the doubles and left very disappointed in what was almost a pleasant experience
