I took my laptop to be repaired because my keyboard wasn’t working. After 2 weeks of no contact, I called to check on things. The repair guy said that my laptop would be ready the next day. I went in 2 days later and my laptop was not ready. The manager was full of excuses and unapologetic however he did promise to call me the next day with an update. The next day he called me stating that they figured out what was wrong however they’d need to wipe my laptop clean. I’m not in the position to purchase another of the same value and I felt like this was my only option so I gave them the go ahead to do so. The next day the manager called me again informing me that the keyboard still wasn’t working but that I could hook up a separate keyboard and mouse. Today I went to pick my laptop up and they informed me that it would be approximately $200 for “fixing” my laptop and that I could pay additional money for a keyboard/mouse from them. I felt as if though my laptop wasn’t fixed seeing as my keyboard isn’t working. I actually feel as if though I’m leaving with less considering that my laptop has been wiped clean. While I appreciate the attempted help, because I still have the initial problem, I informed the employee that I wouldn’t be paying because my laptop is not fixed. Then I took my laptop and left. The manager called me and left a voicemail saying that he didn’t appreciate me not paying and that he’d like me to come back and pay because they fixed it by providing me a solution that works (the separate keyboard and mouse that they wanted me to pay additional money for). I feel like paying $200 for a laptop that wasn’t fixed is clown behavior. Additionally, during every occasion that we spoke, the manager made sly comments about how the repair guy was working overtime and losing sleep to try to figure out a solution. I feel like he was trying to emotionally manipulate into paying when my issue was never fixed. My keyboard is not fixed.

I bought a computer in October of 2021 from Tim's Computers and have returned it for repairs on 2 separate occasions for 2 different issues. The first was a software malfunction, the 2nd was a hardware malfunction. It has been at ***'s place of business and I truly believe they have lost it in the mess at their store. Go check it out and you will see what I'm talking about. I have spoke with them 4 times since I returned it 3 weeks ago and have learned from *** himself that his technician had forgotten to send it back to the Lenovo factory. Today was the 2nd week in a row that *** used the same excuse on the phone. Maybe a touch of dementia?

My first visit in less than 3 months of purchase cost me $137 which I'm sure was their fault to begin with. Not sure what it will cost to get it back if I ever see it again. Probably more than a new one.

If you are reading this, please pass the word to friends to stay away from Tim's Computers. Bad equipment, bad service, and bad management. Just plain BAD !

This is not true and we are doing the Lenovo Laptop RMA for him because we want him to be happy. Don't think that anything we do will make him happy but that is OK. He purchased his laptop and new 24" monitor on 10/04/21. Was happy when he left ... he came back on 11/12/21 to return the 24" monitor for a refund which I was glad to do for him even though it was past 30 days. He then came to the store again on 02/17/22 because the laptop would not boot to the desktop. This was a Microsoft Software issue which we repaired for him at the expense of 125.00 + tax. He then came back in another time with the wifi not working and we fixed it while he waited and explained to him that the wifi adapter had to be reinstalled. After it failed again we asked him to leave the laptop. It was checked in on 03/16/22 and we tried to replace the wifi adapter with 2 other Lenovo WIFI Adapters but did not fix his issue. I put his laptop on our priority bench and a technician attempted to return it but was not sure how to follow Lenovo's Warranty repair process. You have to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Approval) number before it can be returned. I apologized to Mr. Leblanc and let him know I would turn it over to my Service Manager who was familiar with Lenovo RMA process and get it taken care of. We were able to email them on Tuesday 04/05/22 and get the RMA number and it is being shipped off to Lenovo this week. - Please feel free to call *** ***** @ Tim's Computers at XXX-XXX-XXXX if you have any questions. And I do not have dementia ... I have 6 employees doing the work of 12 and after being in this location for almost 20 years we are a little over crowded but have never lost a computer.
