            I contacted Renewal by Andersen around March 2024, to replace a window that had water damage around it and had become foggy. When they came to replace window, there was extensive damage to wood around window opening. The damage was caused by water damage and termites. this needed to be resolved before replacing the window. That work was completed around July 17, 2024. I paid them $2800 for 1 window that was to be custom made to look like the other windows in my home. The window was not like my other windows. I told the gentle this was not the right window. They called the office, said someone would be come to look at this to resolve the issue. As of today, July 30, 2024, no one has inspected the window or return my call.

            For our first phase of renovations where we purchased a very large number of windows and were satisfied with the experience. We were promised a 2-year price lock as the company knew we were doing the project in phases. When it came time for the second phase (where we were also making a substantial purchase), the price doubled, the price lock was not honored, and no explanation could be provided. Andersen could not tell us the price per window, they would not even provide a break-down or receipt of what we were paying for. The installers smeared caulk everywhere, the wrong color caulk was used, they installed the windows in the wrong places and then had to take them out and move them to the right spot, and they gouged our ceiling and walls while banging the windows through the house. After MONTHS of reaching out to the local Andersen branch with no one returning our calls, we escalated the issue to the Andersen corporation where we were officially assigned a complaint mediator. We finally thought we were getting somewhere, and the manager even came to our house to inspect. We were told they were going to investigate the issues and would find a way to "make it right". After reaching out and reaching out, we finally gave up. We were never contacted again. Never got the resolution email and nothing was ever solved. The price you are charged for these windows is completely arbitrary and this company makes up the price for each person individually. If there is ever an issue, the customer is left to just deal with the problems. For the price of this product, this is the worst service experience and worst customer support I have ever received. I could never recommend this company to anyone.
