Date of dispute: 12/10/2023 I attempted to place an order in the Walk-ons app using a Walk-ons gift card that I had previously purchased directly from one of the locations. The app has a selection for partial payment. My gift card had a balance of $15. My order totaled $20+ and my expectation was that the app would allow me to pay the remainder with a different card. The app confirmed that my gift card had a balance of $15 but did not allow me to pay the remainder with another card. I drove to the nearest location on Airline Dr. in Bossier City. The manager told me that my gift card had a $0 balance, the order was not processed, and he could not return the funds to my card. He also informed me that the app does not take partial payments although there is a partial payment option and that several other customers had lost money with gift cards by attempting this option. He told me that I would need to email Walk-ons directly. I attempted to use the Contact Us feature from their site and have not received a response. I am very disgruntled that the company would scam me out of $15 and then make it as hard as possible to reach a resolution. All I am seeking is the $15 returned to my gift card so that I can actually use it.
