I bought a refrigerator at Lowe’s two years ago with the protection plan a.k.a. warranty. The fridge stopped cooling and I had to file a claim with Lowe’s warranty to get it fixed. Lowe’s sent out a company called Knockout Appliance LLC, which is a local Business in my area. They sent a woman with blue highlights named Lauren out to look at my fridge. She spent a whole 5 minutes checking out my fridge and told me that the compressor was out and that’s why it’s not staying cold. She said she would order the parts ( I have texts messages as proof that she said she ordered the parts). However, she never ordered the parts. I sat for 2 1/2 weeks thinking the parts had been ordered as she stated. She conveniently could never give me tracking info on the parts either and altogether stopped answering my text messages. I confirmed with Lowe’s and was told the parts had never been ordered. They sent out another local company who came the next day and solved the problem and fixed my refrigerator. It was not the compressor that was broken on my 2 year old fridge but the heater. This woman is cooking the books for her company and from what I was told this is an ongoing issue with this company. Avoid Knockout Appliance at all costs. Ask for ***** ******. They did a great job and resolved my issue quickly. I can’t even find a website for Knockout Appliance. The only thing I can find on them are bad 1 star yelp reviews that mention similar scenarios as to what happened to me with this so called “business”. Shame on the woman who came out known as Lauren and Knockout Appliance!!!
