I have *** home service and I had a plumbing problem. *** was not able to find a plumber in my area so they asked me to hire someone and they will reimburse me. I hired mr rooter not knowing they were on mo call list. The owner said he asked to be on the list and he can change that. So I had them proceed with the work. Not only they lied they made a disaster at my house . They punctured the sewer they connected the water outside the wall and left one sink disconnected. And collected $2000. When I complained to the owner he said to call his employee. I spent the whole day waiting. No one showed up till I said I will stop payment on the check . They came and left and didn't complete the work. *** will not pay because Mr rooter are bad. I texted the owner again and he acted like he doesn't know who I am.Business response

This is WRONG on so many levels! First of all she had tried 2-3 other plumbers and couldn't find anybody on the weekend. She had a water leak under the slab of her home. We went Monday morning diagnosed the problem and gave her a price. She called *** and Mr Rooter is not on there approved list but come to find out I as the owner had done some work for *** and had a problem and my secretary informed me that did not want to do work for them anyway. Ms **** was on the phone with *** cussing them out and hung up on them and told my plumber to go ahead fix the slab leak she would pay us herself because she couldn't get anybody else out there. Slab leaks are difficult and it requires cutting into walls under cabinets to find which copper line under slab is leaking and customer was informed of this. It was her kitchen sink water line under slab leaking so we had to abandon that line and run a new water line through the attic down the wall to get her new water line to kitchen sink fixture. We do not repair the cut walls under sinks and customers are informed of that they are responsible for getting carpenter to repair that. Job was complete and i called Ms **** that afternoon to make sure she was satisfied and was completely satisfied other than she had to pay out of pocket. The next morning she called and said there was water coming from under her sink and i told her we would be back out to check it out. We were extremely busy that day and were late trying to get there and i got a phone call with her threatening to cancel check and i told her to bear with me we were going. Plumber went back out and found that we had accidentally nicked her sink drain line so when she drains sink it was leaking. It happens sometimes but we repaired no charge. THEN i get a text from Ms **** wanting me to hold check and see if i could help her figure out a way to maybe make the check out to my plumber INSTEAD of Mr Rooter so she could fool *** into thinking that Mr Rooter did not do the work and they would approve the work in my plumbers fictitious plumbing company. I told her absolutely not i do not operate that way. First of all we are not a BAD company !! We are professional qotee price up front told her the scope of work and went back and fixed the little problem that we caused so how are we a BAD company as she stated. THIS complaint is wrong for so many reasons and i feel the main reason she is doing this is because i as an owner run a professional company i am not out to screw any customer!! I have to lay my head on my pillow at night with a clear conscience. Ms **** was trying to figure out a way for me to help her screw ***. I returned her phone calls EVERY time she called!! I'm sure this complaint is because i would not agree to help her figure out a way to get over on ***. If she had a problem with any of this then why when we finished job and i called her she had nothing but good things to say about my plumber/helper the afternoon i called. Why is it after the fact that i wouldn't help her get over on *** did she want to file a complaint. I have a plumber/ helper that will verify ALL of this. There are always 2 sides to e wry story and i can promise you this is the correct story and I'd be willing to fill out a notarized statement if i had to that's how confident i am!!!
