I contracted with Mr. *** ****** of Dark Construction to build a bathroom addition to my house on December 5, 2022 and gave him a check to purchase supplies with. This was my check #**** in the amount of $8,000. They did the dirt work and had concrete poured. All the pipes they put in are covered with concrete with the exception of the drain pipe for the tub at this time. The next day Mr. ****** passed away. They left us dealing with his two sons. ***** ****** told us in no uncertain terms that he did not have anything to do with the construction compayies. J*** ****** did say when contacted on January 21, 2023, that he would refund me the cost of the whirlpool tub that he cancelled the order for. I am seeking restitution in refunds of the full $16,000 dollars because that are refusing to finish the job. I have to find another contractor to complete my bathroom for me. Considering they have poured concrete over the pvc pipe they layed, the concrete they poured will more than likely have to be scrapped. Please help me in this effort. I am not getting any answers from Jeff ****** as to when I can expect refunds. I have uploaded the pictures of the "work" they did and the shape they left it in. Thank you.
