      This company was contracted thru American Homeshield. service request 253553648 and 251920758 to fix my garage door which was not staying down. He fixed the issue with the garage door going up and down however in the process he broke the attach points for the logix board cover adn the sensors do not work properly. on a recall he came out looked at it and denied doing any of that. Now i am the customer stuck in the middle fighting between AHS and This company. I was witness to this happening and i picked up the broken pieces that fell to the ground as shown in the piictures. All i want is my garage door opener back in the same condition as it was before the 1st technician visit. I ppreciate that he got the door working correctly but they need to leave the opener in the same condition it was before the got there.

      8-12-22 - Met with Tyler to pay a cash deposit for 2 10x10 rollup doors with liftmaster motors. Got receipt. 10-5-22 Texted Tyler to let him know that the slab was being poured for the building and get a status update. Also called and texted on the 6th. No answer or return text. 10-10-22 - he got back to me and asked when the building would be finished. I told him that the building was finished. 10-19-22 Texted him again. No answer. 10-20-22 Texted him again. He replied with "In a meeting". I let him know that he was giving me an uneasy feeling by not contacting me back. I had begun to read some very bad reviews about his business practices. 10-21 He said he'd call me back. No call. I texted him on 26th, and 28th. Finally an answer on 28th. He said he'd be be here in the morning of the 29th. 10-29 He never showed up. Evening of 29th, asked to reschedule. 10-30-22 He showed up to install doors. He got them installed and realized that they were the wrong color. He said he'd order the doors in the right color and get back to me. He didn't install the motors. He said he'd do them when the correct color came in. 11-8 He texted and said the new doors were in production. 1-3-23 Texted. No response for an update. 1-12-23 Got a text from someone with his phone number. That's when I found out that he had been arrested for fraud. They said he was working on legal issues. 1-25 I offered instead of giving me the correct doors, just come bring the motors and we'd call it good. I even offered to pick up motors on 2-6. 2-7 was the last communication I got from him. He said he was going to try to get them to me asap. I texted and called on 2-15, 19, 3-3, 3-6, 4-23. No answer. 6-27-23 I texted and called him from my work cell. He answered via text, but didn't know who it was. I tried to get him to call me to explain what was going on, but he ghosted me again. I'm done. That is why I am filing this complaint to warn others not to do business with him or to get motors.

      I RECIEVED A QUOTE FROM TYLER AND ACCEPTED THE QUOTE. PAID HIM A DOWN PAYMENT TO ORDER THE DOORS. FINALLY GOT IN TOUCH WITH HIM TWICE AND BOTH TIMES HE SAID THE GARAGE DOORS WOULD BE IN THE SHOP IN A FEW DAYS, THEN WE WILL CALL TO SCHEDULE. NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM AGAIN.

      This guy took $6,000 for a door order for us on May 5th and gave us a timeframe of 2 1/2 months to have our doors installed. It is now November over 6 months later and we have nothing. The worst part is from May to October we would try to contact him to see what’s going on and he wouldn’t reply! We would call, text, and Facebook message and he wouldn’t answer or call back. It felt like he took our money and was running with it. On October 3rd after not having responses from him for a while we told him we were going to post what’s going on on Facebook and THEN he finally started replying. At that point he said he could have the doors in by October 20th. Since then it has fallen through again. He doesn’t say what’s going on, he doesn’t say what timeframes to expect or what the manufacturer is saying. We asked for proof of our order or proof of what the manufacturer is saying and he doesn’t give it. We have no clue what is going on and we keep asking. When you take money from people for a service you have to communicate with them!

      4/19/22 Ordered Garage door and paid 65 percent down to Tyler C******** owner of Diamond Garage Doors. He has put us off for months, keeps leading us to believe the door is on its way and no resolution. He is non responsive and if we do get one it’s just another run around story. I want proof of my doors shipping and date of order. I asked if it could be tracked and he said no just wait. Now it’s October 25 and it was supposed to be delivered on the 20th. He stated he was checking the manifest and would be letting me know (again no response) we will be contacting Calcasieu Parish Contractor Fraud Department that specializes in this area that was developed after the hurricane for contractors who will take money from customers. Beyond frustrating but there is no communication that it’s always the same story. If we could have got proof the door was in shipping and delivered and waiting on install that would have been wonderful but it’s been 6 months. Our neighbors all got doors and they ordered 3 months after us so that’s a red flag. We were trying to hold out but after reading other complaints filed seems to be the trend of this company.

      I ordered two doors from Tyler and he requested a down payment of 2700$ out of a 4500$ job I paid him in cash and made him give me a receipt he stated that the doors would be in in 4 weeks but for me to give him up to 6 weeks I agreed in June I called him and he said he would be able to install them in two weeks that passed I tried calling and texting him and he didn’t respond until July 11 at that time he stated that I was scheduled for the next week he did not show up I contacted him again on the 27 of July and he stated I was scheduled for August 11 and he didn’t show up I tried calling and texting everyday and he finally texted back and said he would be here the next week and still has not been here to install my doors I asked for my money back if he was not going to do the work and now he refuse to return my calls or text as of now I have all the paperwork and text messages for evidence of the issue I just want my money back so I can look for another business to do the work !!

      We paid Diamond Garage doors $2,382.00 on May 2, 2022 for a 12x14 roll up door with motor. We have been communicating thru text messages checking the status of the installation. Tyler said he would have it installed in July. We still have not received the door. He has stopped responding to texts and does not answer his phone.

      I purchased a garage door from Diamond Garage Doors and Repairs on 1-7-2022 and I have not yet received the door. I paid $600 for the door and paid by check. Tyler c******** stated he need half of the money down before he could order the door so I paid him in hood faith. I was advised the door would be in within the month. The next month came it was not in and I tried calling Tyler with no response or return call. I called him every month to check on door and no response. He never answered my calls and never returned my calls unless I sent him follow-up text inquiring about the door. He appeared agitated or angered when he would respond to my text messages. He kept telling me the door was on back order and will be in on this day and that date and no door! After about six months of no door, I advised him If my door was not received by the vendor in 2 weeks, I would like a refund because the door is still not in. He sent me a text message with an LOL ?? face accompanied with the letters. I gave him another two weeks and he said the door was on the truck. Two more weeks passed and still not install. I posted an inquiry about how to reach him on Facebook, he was upset and refused to install my door and refused to refund me my money. He said I needed to pick up my door or pay a 40% restocking fee. I told him need an address to pick up the four because I need to her me a drive to take me there. He refused to provide me with an address to pick up the door and kept stating he will let me know tomorrow. Tomorrow has come and gone copious days. I requested a full refund for my door and he refused, he wants to charge me a 40% restocking fee but will Not provide me with a location to pick up my Door. He refused to install the door and he refuses to refund me my money. He keeps saying he charges a 40% restocking fee. I advised him I should NOT pay that fee because I ordered the door in January and paid for it in January, He was upset because I posted on Facebook.

      They came and fixed my garage December 2021 and charged me 560… it’s June 2022 not even a full year and the garage is broken again I have warranty they guy came out Friday June 17th and looked at it told me it needed to be replaced and that he would be coming back on Monday June 20th to fix it, and he never came back, I’ve tried texting and calling I believe that I’m blocked I have no idea why but this is crazy and VERY unprofessional.

      This is a false accusation. The customer called stating lightning struck around her home and her motor stopped working. We went look at it and the motor was fried in several spots. We explained to the customer that the motor can’t be covered under warranty due to the lightning, which the customer agreed and didn’t have a problem with. A deposit was never put down for a new motor nor did we receive any type of payment from the customer. If the motor would Hypebeast I have toave been covered by warranty, it would have been a different situation and my company would have been entitled to replace or fix the problem.
