I contacted Meaux’s Mobile Home services on 08/21/23 to come out and relevel the stacks of blocks that my mobile home is sitting on as some were leaning, some my mobile home were not sitting on, and one stack fell completely over. The business owner sent me a text saying “to relevel and to tighten up the perimeter would be around $175.” So I then preceded to ask when was the soonest they could come out to carry out the job I was needing done. He then responded and said he could have a guy come out on the morning of 08/22/23. When his guy got here he only fixed the stacks of blocks on the front of my mobile home and when I asked him if he could fix the stack of blocks on the backside of my mobile home he then told me he was not able to because he did not have the right equipment with him. I then asked if they could come back out with the right equipment to complete the job and was told by the employee that I had to contact his boss which is also the owner of Meaux’s. I contacted the owner shortly after asking if they were going to come back and level out my trailer, he told me that to come out and relevel the trailer, it would cost $750.00. This was not mentioned or said until after the fact when I had already paid him the $175 thinking he was going to relevel all the perimeters like he specified in his text. After I paid his worker, I asked for them to email me a receipt and he said, “he would have Josh do it.” I also told the owner over text that I never received a receipt. I was ignored for that message also, and still never received one. I also clarified with him to see if he was coming back to relevel the perimeters like he said he would for $175, and his response was, “no, it would be an additional cost at $750.” I was told from the beginning that $175 was to relevel and tighten up the perimeters.
