HOME OWNERS BEWARE I hired ***************************** and Fleur De Lis Home Remodel LLC in June ******************************** which he was paid nearly a half million dollars. He and I parted ways in about August 2022 (over a year later) and he didnt complete the job. He was very persuasive in his bid for the job. However, first of all, he was seldomly at the worksite. In fact, I never saw him doing anything during construction and the only time I saw him was when he wanted a money draw. Second, he seemed to lack the knowledge to do the work. He claimed that he had so many years of experience but he did not know the type of foundation my house required and disagreed (via email) with the property manager when he advised him that he needed to clear the ground before pouring the slab. It appeared that he depended on his associate, who came with him to the contract meeting, for directions on the job. Third, because his subcontractors were unsupervised, the work they did was deplorable. The lights were crooked, the soffit vents and light holes were covered by bricks, interior painting was sloppy, with paint on the floors in every room (they didnt cover the wood floors while painting), brick work was poorly done and there are so many other problems and deficiencies. The worst part was when he attempted to get paid more money without correcting the other issues that were shown to him. Very unprofessional.
