Had an appointment on January 19th 2024. I was informed they accept my insurance. At the visit they took x-rays and examined my teeth ( did not do a cleaning which is what I asked for) . I was informed that I needed an extensive cleaning that was way out of my budget. Aspen Dental claimed that it would be against the law for them to do a normal cleaning. With all respect, I said that is fine I'll get a second opinion. Well now I'm being billed for $230.00 for the examine and X-Rays. I called Aspen and they said my insurance company has not paid them. I called Ambetter ( my insurance) and they said they were in fact paid ( Claim ID # ***************** now I'm trying to reach Aspen Dental and it is nearly impossible to speak with someone in the billing department. I was able to get threw the first time threw the scheduling department. now they won't speak to me, they transfer me to billing.Customer response

I went to the Aspen and ********* to continue with my treatment plan and fix the filling work done by the ******* office. I went to the ********* office and explain to them that I needed a treatment plan so that I could put a regulator back in my mouth. The office manager assured me that they could do this. After several in office complaints about the quality and the dentist taking a walking drill and scratching my glasses, I complain to corporate. After which the office manager called me told me that they would no longer see me and that she did not think that there was anything they could do to fix my mouth to be able to put a regulator in it. The office manager lied about the care the office could provide and spent two months and $6000 of my money that they will not refund. All of the work done at the ********* office was done under false pretenses. The damage done to my natural teeth that was unnecessary will cost me more to have fixed than $6000. Aspen will not return my money. ******* care credit. The office manager lied. Sold me a treatment plan under the same lie. Less than two months later my teeth are chipping, fillings are falling out when I brush my teeth, and I just had a crown pop off. I want all of the money spent at the ********* Aspen returned because I was charged under false pretense
