            This complaint is in regards to the company, Southern Flooring (**), not honoring their agreement between themselves, customer, and contractor. Here is a timeline of events:May 25, 2019 - purchased original flooring from ** Nov 13, 2019 - Flooring installation begins Nov 16, 2019 - Flooring installation complete Sept 2020 - begin noticing cupping of flooring. **** with ** comes out to the house to look at flooring. Oct 2020 - **** (**) returns with ***** ***, representative of flooring manufacturer (******) to look at floor ********************************************************* of Vavassueor's Flooring conducts inspection on behalf of ****** Flooring Tues Feb 2, 2021 - Receive copy of final report of inspection Early 2022 (delayed due to COVID pandemic) - meet with contractors and **** (**) at the house to discuss flooring issues Mar 23, 2022 - **** and ************************* (contractor) discuss floor replacement and agree to cover a 50/50 split of cost of LKQ. If we went with any other flooring, we would be responsible for difference in price April 15, 2022 - email confirmation from **** that we would have no OOP expense for floor replacement May 9, 2022 - Floor removal/install begins. Mold is discovered. **** instructs his crew to "cut out" bad spots and continue installation. I stopped installation due to health concerns.May 2022 - house is remediated for mold. **** provides quote for floor replacement.July-Aug 2022 - new flooring is replaced by new flooring company due to poor work ethic of SF. Insurance claim against contractors. Contractors pay half of floor replacement per quote from *********************************** "Just to be Clear, ** never agreed or is willing to pay out to anyone for this flooring." Provided **** with itemized breakdown of insurance claim with contractors indicating half of floor replacement cost paid. **** needs to honor his agreement and pay 50% of the replacement cost ($4730.26) per his quote, verbal agreement, and written confirmation of no cost to customer.
